From what I understand and been informed that some of the review codes of PES2010 have the smaller kit edit size and some don't. I was informed of this earlier in the week.

It seems that WE09 had 128x128 pixels, PAL PES2009 had 255x255 pixels as the base for sponsors. I read that Konami know Europeans are alot more into the editing game and want to make it as realistic as possible, where Asians play it more like a video/arcade game and thus WE2010 will retain the smaller size.

So come RETAIL RELEASE, it SHOULD still be the same for PAL PES2010 having 255x255 as the base.

If this ends up being untrue I'll gladly resize the PNG's, but quality of graphics will suffer!

EDIT : I know my earlier kits still need resizing when adding into game cos I've made the sponsors the full width of the shirt (pit to pit, e.g. Stoke Away) My newer kits are definitely more refined, just import and move up and down with no resizing needed.

Try going on Sponsor edit then 'Draw Yourself' and go to the extreme of the X Y co-ordinates and you'll get the number of pixels available.

I plan on getting a few more Bundesliga teams done tonight when I get home later. Easy.

What I did notice however in the video is that the quality of the PNG upon importing was very sharp and on the left grid square it shows the image as it would on 09, but the actual shirt image was obviously oversized which completely doesn't make sense?! As if the grid image isn't agreeing with the preview.

What I'd REALLY like to know however, if Rainey would be so kind... could you go on 'Create' - 'Draw Yourself' and move the cursor to the bottom right of the grid and give me the X Y values for piece of mind.

Off the top of my head I think leaving my current setting of 300 pixels/inch and simply reducing the image dimensions to 128x128 after editing may solve the whole thing, where the quality will still be there just the with the illusion it's smaller to the eye.

I'm relishing the task of resolving this hideous issue now! I'm glad though that they need reducing and not enlarging cos they would distort, and would require that they would all need doing again! :shocking:

@ Abstruso. I'm defs happy to have Bundesliga in Other B. For Other A I'll leave some from that list in, but probably re-edit about 5 Championship teams, undecided though to be honest.

Thought I'd conclude this long reply with a HUGE THANKS to all of you for taking the time to visit my thread, gettting involved and it's really good to know there are people that are into PES as crazily as I am!

could you please also find out the minimum numbers of teams for second division in Masterleague. How many teams do we need to fill the second division? Is there an option for 10-12 teams or do we need more?

@ goalgerd. Yeah defo mate.

I'm pretty sure the problem in simplest terms... the image size is correct, but the resolution is set higher than normal (for other design work) which makes them appear larger when importing to PES edit mode.

@ Twisteddeeds. My mates were telling me that Glen Johnson had a couple of chances to get rid of the beach ball, but didn't. Reina put it in back of the goal and didn't get rid of it and the fact it was one of your fans that hit it on to the pitch, simply devine...

Not bad for us though, draw with Man Utd, beating Liverpool, another win and we're up there! :ninja:

lol.. i seen the replay.. the balloon, just drifted out from the back of the net to where it got hit just as they were building up to the goal... lol nightmare.... we didnt deserve to get anything out of that match....

I've found 2 versions of the 3rd shirt, one in-game and other from the store. Obviously, I've sided with the in-game on the emblem layout etc...

Rainey has the PS3 version. Adam from WENB gave him his copy so Rainey could get to work on the PES2010 WENB OF.

He is doing it now and should have the OF ready for release on Friday.
