If he doesn't have the highest keeper's stats, i will be dissapointed. I have no doubt that he is best keeper in the world right now

He's the new Thomas Ravelli, that's what you'll hear through the grapevine. Though word on the streets is that is only because both are Swedish.

Casillas is the best keeper in the world I think, his positioning and reflexes are excellent , though I've heard Julio Cesar is very good for Inter Milan.
Shout out to Shay Given and Chris Kirkland, two very solid underrated keepers.

Yea JC has been the best over the past couple years. The saves this guy consistently makes are just unreal. There's only been 1 guy in Pes ahead of him who goes by the name of Buffon. Even though I think JC is better than Buffon these days I think in Pes 2010 Buffon will still get better stats.

Pepe Reina, the shootout king, golden glove winner 3 years on the spin when he first arrived at Liverpool. Breaking records all over the place. Surely he deserves a shout. Its only a conspiracy the size of the Kennedy asassination that he's not Spanish no.1.

i think Brad Friedel has been one of the best and most consistent in the prem over the last few years, if not the most consistent. Julio Cesar was a beast on the last one so will be again no doubt. but because Buffon is the most expensive keeper in the world his stats will be best.

Casillas is too stupid at aerial balls and corner kicks,he has only good reflexes.Petr Cech is way ahead,an excelent keeper.
And there is not such term as "best in the world" because all goalkeepers make mistakes sometimes and all of them make incredible saves.

yeah quite right, casillas is an awesome shot stopper, but wank from set pieces. cech just hasn't been the same since he got his head bashed in, who mentioned kirkland..? donkey boner.

You forgetting Shay Given???????

:shocking: are you serious?
Although Julio cesar did great in the last season and was the best keeper (still Juve did so bad in defending last year and that's why Buffon didn't shine enough) but Julio cesar isn't the best keeper overall. Overall he is not better than Buffon because 1 good season doesn't make you the best all round keeper. Buffon this year, is really doing great once again. So I think Buffon and cesar must have the highest keeping skills but varying other abilities.

when i was younger i played in goal and a watford scout told me i was going to be the next david seamen as an arsenal fan it really made me happy.he insisted to my parents he drove me to training as it was far from my house and even at weekends i could stay as there was no school!!

i used to like staying at his he used to give me sweets all the time was strange then cos he would come into my room at night and say he wanted to give me a massage so i was ready for training in the morning.after a while things didnt go to well and once i turned 16 he stopped coming to pick me up when i rang he just said sorry your jus not good enough to make it and that was it my career was over :( last i heard he is serving 6 years in prison for somthing dunno but even tho i didnt make it im not bitter and if i had to choose the best gk id say buffon

Who is this fruitcake ?

Kirkland is a very good keeper, im not sure he should be mentioned amongst the best in the world, but if he wasnt injured all the time he would be England No1.
