Maybe that's Juninho Paulista? hehe. If that really is Pernambucano then maybe it has to do with a stats drop due to his old age?
if it is pernambucano (the one who played in lyon for those who do not know) those stats are very very very low, especially if he is unlockable, as i believe we unlock star players at their peak performance stats. or what would the point be in unlocking maradonna, who is 100 years old now.

Age might affect his pace and stamina but he is still scoring free-kicks for Al-Gharafa in Qatar. Age certainly hasn't diminished his free-kick ability.
This is konami selling him a bit short because he is playing outside of a major league. He's easily still a 97 for free-kicks and similiar for swerve.

If they're still playing football today then their stats will reflect their abilities at the present time. Since the game doesn't have every team in the world, certain popular players, who are still playing today but are unplayable in the game otherwise, will also be included in the classic player packs such as Raul and Beckham.
I don't think that free kicks are affected by aging... Riquelme, Pirlo, Del Piero, Beckham, all have knocked them in at a proggressive age.

Ironically though they continue to give Javier Zanetti good stats despite his growing years. I'm not opposed to them doing so as he is still a good player but its fawning to larger teams. If Javier Zanetti was playing for anyone other than Inter his stats would not be so high!
Agreed i find theres loads of average players that are knotched up a few pegs in ability just because their at a bigger team, sometimes youngsters too.

dude - just edit it yourself.
We cant expect every stat to be correct! Christ, that would mean not making a mistake on 7000 players, each with 20ish attributes, you do the math!!!
I had to edit Le God Tissier. He doesnt even have a PK taking card - yet he scored i think 37/38 career PK's!

He never played for Barca or Real but at one point in Pes he had FK accuracy of 99 and then after that he stayed in the 95-97 zone. I haven't watched him since he left Lyon so I dunno if his FKs are still deadly accurate but that is quite a drop for one of the best in the business lol.

I think the main issue people have is that he used to have 95+ for his free kick stats a couple of years ago. So its not really Konami making a mistake, more their dubious way of downgrading a player because he's 'off the radar'.
Has anyone confirmed its the right Juninho though?
Another classic example of the flawed rating system is Puyol suddenly having a heading stat of 78 I believe, just because he scored a header in the world cup. He always had header accuracy below 70 which I thought was ridiculous. Just goes to show you need to be ther eon the big stage to earn recognition from Konami.
