Keepers are far too easy to beat with low shots in and around the box. They dive too late. Also, I never see them try to stick a foot out to block a shot close to them. They just dive late instead. I hear in the commentary Jim Beglin often enough mentioning the goal keeper was unsighted by his defenders. Have Konami added delayed reactions because of this? Either way, far too easy to score this way. This has to be a priority to fix. By the way, I play on Top Player at the moment. So, the goalies shouldn't be this easy.

I completely agree with you - this Problem is REAL! Especially in Online Games ... Yester I scored 9 Goals in a Game where I just had 10 Shots. It´s still fun, but it would be way more challenging, if you would really have to think how you could score and not just retardedly press the Shot-Button!

I didn't have it that easy myself online, as anyone I played knew how to defend well, so there little chances in the box for me and them. There was 2 or 3 games that ended up 3-2, where the goals felt really easy on both sides. These were all 5 min matches in competitions though. Offline in my first match against the AI, they scored 5 easy goals low and just to the side of the goalkeeper. They weren't even right in the corner of the goal. I conceded only 2 in 9 games after that, but have scored 14 where ALOT of them were again low and not really near the corner too much. Totally unsatisfying because you know how easy it was and how crap the goalie is. They're also feel crap saving penalties even when you dive the right way. They are too weak to keep easy shots out.

The goalies are really spoiling this game :( :(
It plays so well but then you can just roll a shot past them and they dont react very well.
Surely a quick patch will sort this out??

I can't believe how bad keepers are. I'm on superstar level on myclub and I'm winning 4/5 nil a game. It's sooooo easy to score they fall in a heep all the time. They pull off a great save every now and then but shots a trickling in past keepers like Buffon and Neuer. I'd understand if it was regular but it's superstar. Demo keepers were miles better. Last years game far harder also it's to easy. Please fix keepers badly it's unplayable. Response times are ridiculously bad. Brilliant game spoiled by horrendous goal keepers.

Keepers are also useless at saving penalties that they've guessed rightly for. If the ball is even just a little higher than their outstretched arm, they won't adjust to save it. Useless!

Penalties are the worst of the series so far. You push the analog stick and they go that way. And that's it. You'll only save a penalty if the ball happens to touch the keeper. It really puts me off.

I sold my game because of the crappy 'keepers and refereeing (Top Player) ... I hope they fix it... properly!!
