I'm not condemning the game at all guys, just commenting on those screenshots. All I was saying is don't expect anything out of this world, because otherwise there might be a few dissapointed people around here. Lets just wait for the elusive gameplay videos and then continue the discussion.
But a lot of the new features are cosmetic or very superficial, like back heel flicks etc. - we have heard very little about wholesale changes to improve the fluidity and realism of the gameplay as a whole. It may well be very similar to WE7 just with the sort of cosmetic additions we have been bombarded with over the last week or so. Ofcourse its far too early to judge, as you say.
P.S - magazine ratings don't really mean much in my eyes. PES3 got 9's and 10's but I still think there were massive flaws in the game and huge room for improvement. Its each man for themselves really when it comes to this great game, I for one am a severe perfectionist and hyper-critical analyst, if its not perfect I'm never happy...
I am looking forward to it immensely, I just don't let the hype cloud my expectations because being let down is not something I enjoy - especially when I've just forked out £160 on a Silver chipped PS2

no dorval, only 6 stadiums so far we've seen.
Cristiano, we've heard quite a lot about the changes actually. Such as the dribbling (the ball doesnt stick to your feet, so you can push the ball to the left of a player and run to his right). Also the crossing has changed where you have 9 directions to aim, freek kicks have changed and I think maybe penalties.
I guess when we see it for ourselves we'll find out truly how much of an improvement it is

what about the new passing system?won't it change the fluidity and realism of the game?more dribbling movements?new centering system?new ball control?direct pass using chest?Knee-height volley shoot while turning round(lol)?
you need to take all this and more features into account mate..

Hmm, I wasn't aware of some of those features you pointed out.
Has anything been mentioned with regards to the shooting and goalkeeping "system"?
And Dorval you are quite right, the WE8 screenshots comparitavely do look very good, the FIFA shot looks horrifically distorted, is it me or does that Barca player have a ginormous head ?

I'm going to buy we8 but i need 2 know some things.
1.will it work with an slide card-sawp magic combo.
2.is there any other places apart form play asia and lik-sang because they wont accept returns if product wont work.
3.did we7, we7i etc work with the slide card-sawp magic combo.
