[LEAGUE] Thread for Argentina Primera División

I'm nearly done with the Argentina OF.

I found the source of the complete crash, it was the 20 teams instead of 18... so the Argentine league will be two teams short, not to mention that there are two of everything that involves Argentine teams in Libertadores...

Fuck Konami for that...

Anyway, my solution is to give the duplicated teams a slightly different name than the one in the "hidden" part of the game, and I am still arguing with myself if I should do the same with the players of the teams in question.

Arguably, it would be a good idea to leave those players nationless, or pick an obscure nationality without a national team to avoid even more duplication annoyances involving the Argentine national football team on top of all the other stupidity.

I am currently implementing the proper kits for all the teams, and I haven't made any players for the Libertadores suffering teams yet.

Yes, there will be pure kitserver and no quasi kits a'la PS3, and I am not sure if I'm gonna publish it because I don't want to have any pressure to do updates. When it's done I can send it to those interested, as is, with no promise of further updates. Kit slots are simply "stolen" from the DLC area, and the new DLC kits are implemented where the old kits for those teams were located and those teams are relinked back there. Thanks Konami, it made me feel bloody clever as this is the first time I actually do something like this... trial by error style!

Team nationality is set to Argentina for all teams, not sure what effect that will have but I hope it recognizes the WE league as Argentine in terms of Libertadores pool. The option was there, so it must have some effect...

PS. Squads are as updated as far as PSD goes, I have no CLUE about Argentine club football in detail. I have reduced all players on a global scale to be more or less equal in strength with the Brazilian league, as PSD tends towards overrating, while Konami tends towards underrating non CL top four teams.

PES League is converted to Bundesliga, courtesy of Anatolia, whom I blatantly exported everything from the league from... without asking. I also cleaned up the multiple clones of players they had made during the creation process.

I've not edited Argentine player appearances either, only added proper faces to those who already had them hidden in the original game files.

Is this for pc or console?

I'm trying to make an Argentinian League for ps3 but what i decided to do was to not make the teams in the Libertadores and just replace them with a few teams from Primera B, i.e Banfield, Huracan, Olimpo....Doing this avoids any kind of duplication issue but i need some serious help with kits and things if anyone can help it be amazing.

Sabbatasso's "Argie-Bargy" Patch

- All English, Portuguese, German and Argentine kits done or "licenced" if you will
- All fake names removed
- Important transfers taken care of

To do;
- Implement better team badges for Argentina (I did a sloppy job the first time)
- Fine tuning of kits, number and name placement
- See if there's any room for some national team kits (I know there's at least 5)
- Implement players for Sarandí, Boca, Godoy, Lanús and Vélez in a sensible fashion. Most likely I'll make their nationality The Falklands just to avoid the aforementioned national team duplication.

Anyway, how I play the PC game, I waiting for Argentina Primera Division of PESEdit (they said that will make a version with the league). Who knows, they can arrange the weird things in ML (Bundesliga in South American, for exemple). But is good let this thread here, especially for who have Xbox or PS3 .

I see that the thread is a little dusty . Anyway, I think that we can create a real Argentina First Division Creation Thread. Because this thread was more for we show our ideas and opinions about the league and the game, and this is very good, because we see who can and/or wants to help here (like chuckyboy with the kits, the patch made by Sabatasso, the interest that Nemesiskidd, StringerBell, 99Doogs and others had in the league...).
Will be a little hard (because of Konami restrictions for add leagues, screwed up the ML, and for the hard work to find infos and stuff about the league). But in Pesgaming exists threads for leagues that work on (like Bundesliga, Russian Premier League and, recently, the Liga Postobon). 99Doogs, if want, can create a thread for Argentina PD and, later, can create stats for the PD players (but later, because him is creating the stats for Liga Postobon, and is much work create stats for a whole league
So, what do you think?

all this sounds really good, i have a few teams 100 percent completed so i can definatly help out, the main problem for me at the moment is finding out squads and stats because PSD sucks in my opinion. If someone could help out with squads and stats then i can help out with the kits and all other things.

The problem with PSD is that the Argentine league becomes twice/thrice as good as the Brazilian if you use PSD. So in order to use PSD you would have to convert the whole database to PSD, which isn't a good solution in my opinion.

I have next to zero knowledge of Argentine players other than a few key players and most of those playing Europe.

I am willing to help with whatever I can do, and I've (eventually) made a quite decent emblem package for this league that I can upload. I am running short of time just now, so I'll do that one of the coming days. The emblems follow the same style as Konami default logos.

EDIT: There will be some crashes due to wrong kit model numbers as this particular file is probably meant for PES2012. Just change any kit model that refers to a number higher than 100 to 1 and Collar 0 (in the config.txt files) and you'll be fine. The Estudiantes kit was completely unusable, so I used the one from the link I've already provided in an earlier post.

one thing i will never understand is that you can´t edit anything from the copa libertadores in pes 2013. i just don´t like playing this cup with tons of cheap generic faces instead of great builds or facescans.
BTW: i could make some builds for this league when i find some time

I am actually so annoyed by so many things about this game that I nearly burst a vein every time I play, and for once it's not really gameplay related.

The lack of league mode doesn't really bother me, but the stupidity in cup mode where you risk meeting teams in the first knock out stage that you had in your group is so annoying that I could die.

The fact that you can't edit any Copa Libertadores teams makes the extra South American league more or less surplus, as you have to choose between having an incomplete league, have duplicate teams and players or just use the retarded fake league... this one is actually a game breaker for me. It's also unbelievably annoying how they switch the leagues around to be league 2 on some occasions... I seriously believe there are some really stupid people working in Konami, and I mean REALLY stupid...

I like the gameplay, but I hate the game... what am I supposed to do?
