Licence?

Hi all

I am a newbie to the PES games and even though I knew that they didnt have real team names, players etc are there plans for future releases to have them? Tried looking around but couldnt find info on it.
Thankfully there are updates available but its kind of like the old Football Director, MPSM days with made up names.

Besides that the game is very good and am slowly getting there...very slowly.

To be honest I never thought they would, but taking PES 2009 in to account with which they managed to get teams like Man-U and Liverpool, also a four year deal on the UEFA CL license I think in time they will manage to be fully licensed... slowly seems to be the way, they are edging their with each release.

In my opinion it just comes down to them(Konami) and the ones issuing the licenses to agree terms (money/politics/competition from EA)

Also since EA/Fifa have a lot of the licenses it can also be depending on if their contract's could be blocking Konami from getting them if it breaches Fifa's current contract,
like how Konami managed to get Uefa this time around instead of Fifa after this four year deal, it could go the other way.

Though of course it would be better for everyone (everyone being the end user) if they both could have got permission for it instead of one or the other.

That's my opinion anyway.

I would have mentioned Option Files, but I made the assumption that is what you meant by 'updates'

Yeah like dan80 just said, Try and get an option file on your machine, it makes the game so much better

yeah i got an update file which does make a whole lot of difference, not sure what one i have as someone sent it to me - just know it took a while to load each one onto the game.
