I can't say I've ever seen it, but then I've not played online for a while.... could be a new thing.

Do they pass the ball back to a defender or midfielder before lobbing it forward? Because Bolton used to do that during the Allardyce days.

Just do it yourself? Or learn to defend against it. And its not that you actually succed with it everytime. I only do it when my opponent play with a high defense.

Its done from kick off, they pass back to a midfielder, pause and lob it forward, anyone using a back four will play the striker onside by virtue of their fullbacks. I tend to foul someone off the ball when I know its going to happen, usually a yellow card and the danger averted.

It became a habbit for me not long after the game came out,to just run backwards every time my opponent kicks off.Just run behind your 2 cb's with the first player your in control of.Changing the player select when your opponent is in the midst of this game glitch move usually ends up you conceding.Like i said just get in the habbit of running back every kick off.Ive not conceded this way for ages despite coming up against this move on the regular.

but there are a lot of guys doing that thing all the time, if i score 3 times the other do this "tactic" (its not a tactic its a game bug) 4 times

online blows, its fun to play against others but why bother when they will cheat and force u to play un-real football, the game is already not all that real..I have yet to touch online and i can do without online.

I switched to semi-assisted and not a lot of improvement
I guess I am just spoilt by the awesome player switching in FIFA lol

The fault with that lies with the game's manufacturer. Every time a new weakness is exposed, you can't expect people to just go 'Oh well that's not realistic so we won't do it'.

Not every player cheeses.

and it's the developer who I blame. I realize there are players who will do whatever it takes to win (even if it destroys the spirit of the game)
