You can download almost all WE and PES patches from the lomungtung ftp site. There are also other files in there such as kits and updates and option files.

Just to make sure, this means you can only download 2 files at a time from this ftp (I think).
Try not to break the rules or you will be screwed ;)

My advice: Use a program called "FlashFXP" to connect to lomungtung to download patches.
It is much quicker and if you get disconnected, you can reconnect.

Quick Basic Guide to using FlashFXP:-
Run FlashFXP.
Press F8 (or go to 'FTP' in the title bar, then 'Quick Connect'.

Server or Url = lomungtung.no-ip.com
Username = we
Password = we
Remote patch = /
Click on 'Connect'.

You will be connected - explore the folder to find the patch you want. Most of us will want the folder PES3 Patch (PS2 Version)
In there, go into the folder of the patch you want and Double click on a file or right-click then left-click on Transfer. If you want more than one file, right-click on the next file and left-click on Queue.

That's about it. It will only download one file at a time. If you've set a Queue, the next item should begin when the previous one has completed.

The speed of download will change at times so don't worry.
Set the left window to a folder you know as that is where the files will be downloaded to.

Yeah, I fully agree! It's like a patchers paradise in there! Every program and patch you'll ever need to make your WE7/PES3 into what you want it to be. Simple and easy to use as well.

I wish I'd found it sooner, it would have saved me a lot of bother i.e searching for missing files for WEModCenter etc for a good two hours. The program is, of course, available in perfect condition on Lomungtung's server along with all the others. Well recommended!

I would recommend the use of FTP programs such as Flash FXP or CuteFTP to download from the lomungtung ftp. These programs let you resume a download if you are disconnected which will save a lot of time.
When using the programs, be sure to enter the username/password combo to get connected or you won't get access.

great FTP site thanks.

One question though. There are loads of patches for WE7 on this site. Do they all have english translation done on them?

Can anybody recomend one patch over another or am I in for a long day of CD burning to find one I like?

I'm not sure but I think that most of the WE7 patches should be in English. They should have a document file with them which explains the contents.

At the moment, the best WE7 patch would seem to be the WE7 Reloaded one.

WEBrasil 1.0 FE is better in my opinion. Less convoluted menus, very good kits and good music (barring Evanescence in the highlights. Argh).

The only downer is the elimination of some teams although I'm happy with the addition of Corinthians and a few others. The game needed South American teams.

If Reloaded's next version can fix it's bugs, I suspect it will be better since it includes more from other patches then WEBrasil.

Zygalski im downloading the patch of johnboy using FLASH FXP....im 56% complete...but now it's paused from an error..which i cant seem to get back connected?

Shut down Flash FXP and load it again. Go back to the patch you were getting and click to download it. It should ask you what you want to do - Say RESUME and it should continue fine.

Zygalski im on the verge of a nervous breakdown. I was using Flash FXP downloading the 22.11.03 jonboy patch using a dial up 56k modem...i was at 103mb (86%) when i last checked of the 121mb file..while i was playing PES3..i checked on the download then notice my file which i downloaded to my desktop was 2.3 mb..i search for rar. files on my pc..and the only file was 2.3 mb jonboy file.... i have no clue where my unfinished 103 mb jonboy file is. Im think somehow Flash FXP somehow overited my download automaticaly??? But i left all the flash FXP as default..so shouldnt i of recieved a promt before this happened?

Weird. Dunno. When I reconnected, I made sure to save the patch in the same folder as where it was originally coming - this may make sure that it prompts you on what to do next.

Does someone wanna give me the patches on a cd?? i wanna tear my hair out!!!!! im thinking either Flas fxp overited my download automaticaly..or some hacker played with my download??

After finaly downloading the jonboy 22.11.03 patch.. which took me 11 hours to download...i used to Winrar to extract the file... i got an error message that the file was corrupt..

can anyone help me with the situtation other downloading and wasting another 11 hours of time. Do i need to update my Winrar or maybe use another program?

The best version of WinRAR available at the moment is 3.20 I think, there is a newer version, 3.30, but it´s only a beta. But you should be able to unrar it even with older versions. I´m not quite sure if you can do anything when you get a "corrupted file" message.

hmm something is doddgy..maybe my pc..as zygalski told me..i just downloaded a wolf.zip(43mb) patch. using flash fxp..to avoid using winrar...then i extracted the file...it also gave me a message. somehow i extracted the file..but when opening the folder there was no contents in the folder. I checked the unziped file properties..and it said 43mb...very strange????

When using a zipped file, this is what I do:

Double click on the zip file. Click on the file inside and copy it. Then go to a folder outside of the zip and paste the file there. This should be the unzipped version. If you paste it, you should be able to see it.

Hi

I'm having this problem; every time i try to connect to lomungtung using CuteFtp or Flash FXP, the connection gets closed "ERROR:> Control connection closed".
It's really frustrating !
