Longest amount of stoppage time

Waiting....
I've had 8 come up, and I thought it must be 0, but it wasn't. It was annoying coz the CPU scored with the last kick. It was wierd coz the game flowed, without any noticable incidents.

I was gonna say 6 but come to think of it I seem to remember something weird like 8 minutes when I first got the game. Maybe not.

What affects the added on time by the way???

when playing 5 minute games ive seen "2 mins added on" appear in the corner when i have the lead heading into extra-time

i then watched as nearly 10 actual mins went by w/ the opposition in my end!! this is completely ridiculous- i mean the whole game was supposed to take 5 mins

if you compare the amount of "time added" in the corner of the screen to the amount actually played during stoppage time (w/ a large enough sampling pool of games) you can see the 2 numbers are totally unrelated.

in reality, i have found that time-added is completely dependent on clearing the ball. if you cant do it, the computer will have as much time as they need to even the score

extra time=BS

when extra time begins in PES/WE-- no matter what the clock tells you-- each team has a limited number of "attacks" remaining, dependent on how long each possession lasts. the game simply cannot end w/ one team on the attack. similarly, the defense cannot end the attack (AKA possession) without touching the ball outside of their own third of the field, or clearing it really deep. Ever notice how when you break up an attack really deep into extra time, the game ALWAYS ends the instant you carry the ball beyond that invisible one-third line?

also, no matter how long the very first possession of extra time goes, there will always be at least one chance for the other side to attack. i have actually possessed the ball for 15 real mins to start extra time during a short game... and the defense still got to carry it all the way to the other end and take a couple corners b4 i carried it out of my 1/3 & finally ended the game.

for the most part, the more time on the clock the more change of possessions u can get. try this sometime: if you can get 5-6 mins of extra time on a low difficulty, stand in the neutral third of the field and continually lose and regain possession. you can "draw out" the whistle in ~10 seconds doing this. experimenting w/ this, i have found that if it says 2 mins added on the clock, it almost always takes exactly 4 of these quick change-of-possessions to draw a whistle. i have also found that the team trailing gets more leeway (essentially they get an extra chance to equalize)

i dont know the exact formula (time to possessions), but whatever it is the whole system is pretty stupid IMO. extra time should just be real extra time, not this BS "change-of-possession counting." its ridiculous that if you can hold the ball for 15 mins the game will continue.

6 was the highest amount that has ever came up for me. It means nothing when you're up their end, sending in the corners, trying to find a goal. I suppose stoppage time could go on for about 10-15mins when doing that.

When I was playin my mate, I was up 3-0 and it said 2 mins added on at the 89th min, I then took the ball right into my box and started to run rings round all his players as they piled up. I did this because I knew the game was over but I wanted to see how long I could keep the ball off him for, This was a 10 Minute game and in real life time the whistle never blew for around 3-4 mins (After we were into stoppage time). Thats way more than what we should've got, I wreckon it was something to do with the fact that AI Thought he had a chance on goals as he was tackling me every 2 seconds and I was turning him all the time, Oh well a funny old game! ;)
