I played PES 2011 online only for a few of days but Iv'e played PES for years, now I can't stop losing while playing online.
The players of the opposite team are always faster, smarter and make better pressure on the ball even when my rival isn't playing with ML team.
wtf am I doing wrong?
Tips you can give?

EDIT: Don't even bother. after some more playing I can easily say 2 things:
1. The Game is either against me or everyone I played against cheated.
Strikers stand still, defenders doesn't even try to get to ball. They are cruising around the field doing noting at all. No strategy or team style changes seems to help.

2. Considering this is the year 2011, this is the worst soccer game I have ever played in my life. Even if I'd win every single game. I would rather throw those 30$ into the trash.

*Oh yeah, you gotta love how Konami try to make the game realistic with annoying manual passing or strategies and team style that are amazingly ineffective and don't do shit, while any player can run around the field like a Usain Bolt on drugs or make a through pass from the half line that will lead to a goal, and the list goes on.

Ever since i got relegated from D1 on tuseday i played 1 D2 cup and got knocked-out in the final, i then started playing just quick matches because they make more money at this division i kept 530+ rating for 2 days rarely losing any games, decided to give the ML Open a try and here is what happened:

- 850k entry fee.
- Losing twice to 2 players from D5 and 1 from D4 which resulted in the drop loss of almost 60 rating.
- Gaining 60k money a game which resulted in the loss of around half million euros.

I would like some realistic explanation to this shit because i know what i am capable of and i know when someone outplays me and i can't beat him or someone who just beat me because he got lucky, but i wouldn't call that luck because for example:

- My defenders wouldn't win any challenge no matter how hard i tried(Essien vs Castolo and they run next to each other with me pressing X for 3-4 seconds and Essien still can't win the ball), any kind of tackle gets whistled as a foul by the ref.

-My Forwards wouldn't finish even with an open goal(Yes i had a chance with Inzaghi vs an open goal from outside the box and he still missed it badly).

-My Goalkeeper does not hold the ball even if it's a slow shot he still parry it to allow a follow also any kind of 1v1, low crosses, corners, free kicks for the opponent = instant goal because my defenders simply won't resist and won't jump and won't clear the ball properly(I have Martesacker, Dunne and Bruno Alves at the back 3 fucking giants and still Capel manages to score a header).

Simply ruining the fun out of the game i don't know what to call this and why is this happening but it's seriously lame, i buy the game to have fun not to higher my blood pressure lol.

It's a post of mine 2 days ago on another forum, basically this game is scripted i dont know what is the script based on but it only works for you when you wipe your team and have a fresh one then you will start winning again, but this time i ain't wiping anything because i am just tired of it i shouldn't be forced to change team\formation every while it's just stupid.

Online does not reflect the true ability of the player. Online is terrible anyhow.

I don't buy into this momentum bs online.I just take it on the chin and blame myself when my team collapses or i just get unlucky.Bad players just whinge about momentum because there shit and it's easier to blame something out of there hands.

What division are you at? how many matches did u play?

I know when did i screw up and when i just couldn't help it there is difference, when i win D1 cup and keep losing vs D5ers then there is something wrong someone can get lucky once twice or even three times but for a whole streak of 10-12 i be that unlucky? i don't buy this shit.

Don't play mlo online but when i finished playing i was in d1 with Genoa's real squad.Just play in the match lobby now off and on,got 670 points using Boca Juniours mainly recently but usually just pick any random average team .Well i never lose that much so i find it hard to believe ,2 defeats for me is crisis time .I rarely ever lost to d5 players .Anything below d2 was usually a guaranteed win in mlo.

Well i exaggerated a bit by saying 12 matches ofc i didn't mean that i just wanted to give an example, 3-4 games maximum to be fair but the phsycological blow you get after that might drive it to further more for some persons especially me, i've played over 2k games in MLO i've won D2, D1 cups more than once and made it to shit loads of finals and i when i am beating 570+ rated players and winning cups it really jump on my nerves losing to a lower rated player who i've been dominating for a whole game having 20+ shots and 15+ on targets and missing chances that if repeated a player would never miss with players like Inzaghi and Di Vaio on red arrows, on the other hand my opponent score from the first possible chance they get mostly in the injury time in a very annoying way(Deflection, Castolo running over Essien, own goal, keeper failing to hold the ball).

I am not a calm person and i might really get annoyed when something like that happens and that anger may cause me lose more games because i simply lose concentration, my team isn't a super team and i don't play wingers and spam low crosses i play a very fair, my D1 team was worth 60m+ which i believe was an achievment because most of my opponents had Ronaldo-Messi-Arshavin which something else i cannot understand(how can you get all these expensive players).

So to sum up my point i do believe that momentum exists might cause a 3-4 game losing streak but the psychological blow it deals might cause much more depending on the person who is playing and i think momentum affect the following:

- Player Conditions
- Finishing, Passing, Tackling.
- AI intelligence level
- Goalkeepers
- Referee

Definitely scripted. So is FIFA. Its nothing new, most EA sports games have had it for years. This is my first PES but its all too obvious its in there too.

These idiot developers think they're being so smart and making the game more realistic. This might make offline play more interesting but does not belong online. Combine 'momentum' against you with a little bit of lag and this game becomes a joke.

You have to take into account when you are playing another human whether online or offline it doesn't matter as long as there's no lag.People get complacent, change tactics what makes the difference or just up there game or hit a lucky shot.Most of the time you can pin point a mistake that you've made what's leaded to your opponent to score.If you think of it like football than you are going to get unlucky from time to time.For me it feels like i get the luck majority of the time.You never remember all them lucky wins you get and all them lucky strikes.A couple of months ago i went over 40 games undefeated over a 4 day period beating some good players and then end up losing to some crap player who had one shot all match when i had over 10 shot's on target.But i'm not going to blame the game for cheating me like little whinging bitches do when things don't go there way.I knew at the end of the match i could of been more clinical in the match by trying walking it in.Same goes for the goal i conceded from the corner was a result of poor defending what led to the actual corner.
Like i said it's always easier to blame something what's out of your hand rather than looking yourself in the mirror.
Keep blaming the game for all your scripted defeats while all the good players keep on winning.

I've lost games thanks to cursor switching, no way thats my fault. Lost 2-1 in a game I dominated - with shit players mind.

Granted I've conceded stupid goals from my own fault but I wasn't able to select the player nearest the ball after his goal kick, instead two CPU controlled players ran away from the ball. Two defenders :facepalm:

It was a good finish mind stroking past my keeper but ffs.
