Manager contracts?

I've searched through the threads in this section and I can't see any mention of this, so I thought i'd raise it here. Apologies if it has already been discussed.

I could have sworn blind that the pre-release information about PES 2012 mentioned the fact that Football Life would now feature manager job offers from other clubs, but it doesn't seem to be a part of the game after all. I've being playing Master League for 3 or 4 seasons now with QPR and in the last season got them to 5th place in the EPL. My Chairman backing is about 90%, and i have about 100 million pounds in the bank, so i would have thought that would at least have earned me a few offers, but no dice. Surely you don't have to win the league to get an offer?

Does anyone know if this is actually a feature of Football Life in the current edition, or was it scrapped before release?? Or, did i dream it all up?

If it's not there, I may give up on FL, as I have to say i'm a little bored. I was really excited about the prospect of being able to move clubs once I felt like i'd gone as far as i could with a team, so it's extremely disappointing to not see any evidence of it so far...

Show me the pre-release which said that because KONAMI never said anything about it being implemented for this year

You've not dreamt it. It was another rumour that was added to the Wikipedia page and claimed as official.
I remember in 2010, there was a rumour that of all teams Birmingham City would be licensed, but again it was a dreamt up rumour that people went with.

It's such a simple thing, and would dramatically improve the longevity of the Football Life mode, i really can't understand why they don't implement it. I believe FIFA offers this in their Manager Mode.

Keep up Konami!

I have to agree 100%, with this feature i can see doing 30+ seasons, now i quit ML after every 6 seasons (MAX) because by then my team is always unbeatable.

I normally lose interest by the 3rd season, and often I don't reach that milestone because my team is already too good by that point. I remember on PES2008 having a squad so good my goalkeeper could score for me. I think that was the point of dynamic progression for players in 2011, perhaps something similar in PES2013 would be a nice touch.
