i was just wondering how many people use the map in PES when playing.
when im playing my mates they say they never look at it....i reckon it is essential to gameplay, i.e looking for space/ players.

just a thought.

I always take quick glances at it when I've got a bit of time and space. It's especially essential for those through balls to strikers who like to make runs off the shoulder of defenders.

Especially in this demo, the camera is so damn close!

Agreed, especially when looking for those through balls over the top.

I only look at it when the ball is on my side of the pitch and I have less pressure on me so I can switch attack from left to right or forward down the sideline. Its quite hard to do much more when being pressured.

I check for offsides and long balls usually. I never use it when I am defending.

i use the scanner frequently as it makes the game so much more readable, i use the map constantly in two player as there is more variation in the space that can be used around the picth.
