i hope there is some kind of problem with the DLC like last time and the real one is released soon...
however, KONAMI has never been famous for support, DLCs etc. which is more understandable considering the budget.
but this so called DLC is an affront against all steady and brave PES players who despite loads of disappointments still stick to this once almost perfect game.
tow years ago we had a DLC both before christmas and after the transfer window covering all kinds of stat updates etc. last year there has only been the one after the transfer window, but at least covering the stat updates.
this year with 1 month in delay we have neither stat updates nor newsworthy faces. i don't blame KONAMI for net being able to compete with EAs budget and i don't need all the team licenses etc. as long as it's a good football game...
but it doesn't take that much money to do some new faces and increase (wilshere, bale, sanchez, suarez) or decrease (kaka, arshavin) the stats of some players who a lot of people were looking forward to play with in MLO.
PES's greatest forte has always been its authenticity on the pitch. but now with arshavin beeing more or less the best player in the game it's slowly becoming something like a worse double of FIFA... :(

Has anyone actually downloaded the March update? I can't see it anywhere by the extra content or in the xbox live market place.

The only update that I supposedly don't have is the December 2010 update, but surely to play online (which I did last week) I would have had to download that pack ages ago? Anyway, still can't see the March update anywhere, its almost noon here so I kind of expected it to be out already?

This may not be the correct time to be talking ill of japanese people... but its just always the same **it, ALWAYS!

A simple question:

H-O-W!!!!! How is it possible that KONAMI took TWO months to update a few transfers (which I personally finished in one single night) and yet have no new faces?

Last year Ivanovic, Dembele, Zhirkov, Vermaelen got faces. YEAH so nice!

This year David Luiz, Andy Carroll, Jack Wilshere, Phillipe Coutinho, McDonald Mariga, Laurent Koscielny, Nico Gaitán, the list goes on... are gonna have no faces, good work KONAMI!... two months and you couldn't even update Luis Suarez's hairstyle, screw you!

But FIFA didn't update faces and appareances either
They even didn't update minifaces for the new players, so you have a gray silhouette.

And they updated stats but people was angry because the players didn't have the exact rating they wanted.

So my conclusion is that nobody is happy never, nobody is happy because they don't update stats, then other people is not happy because the stats were changed but not how they wanted to change.

-FIFA doesn't even matter, I expect PES to have other standards, specially when it comes to edit mode. FIFA is a totally different game, they don't have an Edit mode like PES, they have different standards and people expect different things from their updates.

-PES has a strong heritage of making the best faces ever done and yesterday they let most people down because they didn't even care. If the patch came one or two weeks after the transfer market closed I wouldn't even touch this matter, but they took two months and the transfers aren't even done. Liedson isn't in Corinthians, Ronaldinho isn't in Flamengo, Rivaldo isn't in São Paulo, Van der Meyde isn't in WBA.

Stats are different, because bottom line, they are absolutely subjective! However I am asking for faces, and not the all Trinidad & Tobago International Team players faces, I am asking for faces for Top Players!

So people have the right to be angry when they paid full price for the game and have been waiting two months for a DLC that would take 2 days to complete. Quite simply this DLC is a joke!:realmad:

You paid full price for the game, that's it.
The game was updated with new faces and all that when bought it paying your full price back in September.

And if you can update the game in 2 days, then update it and don't use their update.

I don't see the point of getting angry.

Oh! Don't give that crap! All modern videogames have updates and DLCs, so don't tell me that I shouldn't be expecting one.

Plus, what generated all this mess is the fact that they've done better before. Remebering again that the first Transfer Update (PES2010) brought all the transfers plus faces for Zhirkov, Dembele, Vermaelen, Ivanovic, etc.

I don't know about you but my opinion is that games are supposed to evolve and get better, not the other way around!

true. transfers, stat updates and faces would have been the very minimum. but konami even managed to achieve below that. so sad...

This just gives us fans a feeling of total hopelessness! This is supposed to be the Official KONAMI Feedback Section!

Unfortunately it seems they never set a foot here, because I have seen and wrote myself several posts asking for FACES and STAT UPDATES!

They must have seen those invisible posts asking for more BOOT PACKS and incomplete TRANSFERS...

im too dissapointed with the march update, if you remember back to last year before the world cup we had a dlc which was awesome added nearly 125 faces to the game and numerous boots and kits for the world cup, was hoping for something alot those lines possibly not on the same scale but at least adding the faces/hairstyles of the major transfers and the latest kits, dont see the point of playing as france in adidas kit against spain in their new kit, makes the game just feel outdated

hopefully the lack of DLC content for march is reflected in the 2012 game as seems they've not been doing much to improve the 2011 game, so they should of had plenty of time to concentrate on the 2012 version of the game

forever hopeful

Someone should phone a developer or something and say:

"You make the best football game in the world, but you don't know how to choose faces!":shocking:

There isn't a single edition of PES that isn't missing important faces, and this may seem highly subjective, but for those who actually take it seriously and know a lot about football. it isn't so subjective. Even though I agree that a lot of people ask for faces that don't even deserve to be done by PC facemakers.

My idea is to just to make some really important improvements to the face import:

-Don't reduce the final quality of the picture. (That completely ruins it. I am importing a face, it seems nice, but in the end, after saving, its just a blurry mess.):realmad:

-Let us add beards to imported faces.

-The area of imported picture is too small, this should be adjustable.

-Some more options for editing noses (specially nostrils), mouths, chins (chins are too square, and there is only 1 type of chin), head and forehead adjustments.

This can't be too hard to be done! This would allow people to actually make some good faces in the console versions. KONAMI already did some great improvements, but a lot is yet to be done!:)
