Master League ideas.

I personally like to create my own club, in terms of name, kit, stadium etc. It just gives me more of an 'ownership' feel to not just the team, but the club too. It makes the whole ML experience more personal. So when my team loses, I feel it more, but when we win, I'm more proud as I'm taking my own club to the top.
That's why I like struggling in the beginning too, in terms of having low funds to start with, a small stadium (to build upon over the years). I've just started a ML with my very own team (Team Rocket), and I'm playing in the NPower Championship at the moment on Top Player, and have lost 3, but won 1. I'm now facing Birmingham at home in The Rocket Arena, so I'm optimistic this match.

After hours of researching youth potential and stats, the best teams to be for young players are royal sociedad, genk, standard liege or r.c.d espanyol.
I didn't include teams like ajax or everton because hey are too good and you'll be in top flight after a season.

4wins, 1 draw and 2 losses. The 2 losses were teams in the top-half of the table.

I agree with "Jesse James hunter" creating a team from scratch is way better than picking a team already in the game.. makes it interesting and exciting to play against big names in the football world.. I currently created my own team called " PERU FC " and I'm on my 3rd season playing for the BARCLAYS premiere league doing well so far and I love it....but,
I don't know what came over me; but I'm recently working in a whole new league.. creating teams and players from scratch.. I'm a big fan of the Brazilian and Peruvian leagues, ( I'm south American btw full blooded peruvian and proud of it
) anyways .. like I said i changed the D2league to my own league and I'm creating the teams that are going to compete in it ( combining 3 leagues in one ) I'm going to start a fresh new ML with club FLAMENGO support stoked about it been working on the league for 2 days editing and it's coming along great ...

I have GTM's patch though with all championship teams, so maybe i should delete one of the teams and create my own?
In 11 before installing a patch i did create teams, kits and players in the D2 league which i did find interesting and fun.
But when you guys create your own teams do you create the players too?
and k2daz, i would either put it into the spanish league or the new portugese league they've added

Recently turned into a flamengo fan... just cause ronaldinho left ac Milan lol...
my teams would be Chelsea, flamengo, universitario and ac Milan ..
and regarding your other question about creating players too..? Im only creating the notable players of each team.. save me a bit of time I'm trying go have it all done by tomorrow but editing takes time lol

Lol I know, but it will be worth it... keep me updated on how you do on your 1st year of ML with your team... I'll post mine when I'm done editing all this..... list your whole lineup and team strength and I'll do the same...
btw maybe you should create yourself so YOU can lead your created team into victory .. ( that's what I do with every master league I create.. #7 karloz, avg rating of 72* age 15 ) lol just a thought

& that's what i was planning to do, create me and 1 or 2 of my mates, but i was gonna put myself young and have a cb i just created called ferguson, who's 35, overall 76 as captain, and put me captain when he retire's
, i've just about created my first choice goalie and back 4, got a lot more to do yet Master League is much better when you play it the way it should be played... With the fictional and fantasy teams. Afterall, the reality goes out of the window straight away anyway, with the fictional youth team players, and the defaults (Castolo, Minanda, etc) ... Which is the way you should start anyway. Much more of a challenge and MUCH more rewarding.

I'm debating if I should start with master negotiator.. ?
thinking in starting with ML lineup.. it's going to be hard.. but I did it once and I like the challenge
well if i'm honest master negotiator with default team in D2 only really helps with players up for sale, so it's up to you, but when you get into the prem and have enough money for the level 5 scouts, it helps a bit
