Hi Everyone.

One question.

Say its day 1 its released. I go, put the disk in and go to MLO. Will player going market prices on-line be closer to their base values as not too many people would have bought them by that time?

I mean for example some player values are extremely appreciated now like Arshavin. Wouldn't he cost much less and be feasable to get right from the begining when PES 2012 is released and than sell him for much more?

Any help greatly appreciated.

yes on day 1 of ML012 the players market value will virtually be at base value, give or take: a) if any beta testers keep the qsuads they have built up pre release. b) how often the online servers update.

my bet is G. Bale will be the new Arshavin!!!

Yes market value will be cheap. Last year I missed out on the cheap buys for players like arshavin, ronaldo, villa etc because of internet problems Got into master league 3 months after release and all the good players cost ridiculous amounts and other players had great squads while I had to start with the default players. I'm not making that same mistake so I'm making sure I'm online from release day and buying the players I need on the cheap.

And Bale will get sucked on this years version and Carroll will be last years Ibrahimovich

What woul;d be the best buys for that money? I can only buy 2 world class players with only that much.

Bale is a left sided midfielder, though in the past he's been left back at spurs.

He is a very good player in real life and done well for half the season last term which lead to ridiculous amounts of over drive hype from the media where some pundits and managers were heralding him as good as messi after his hat trick in the champions league against inter milan at the san siro. That hat trick effectively made his season and after that he could do no wrong.

So konami will only remember that early season form and he'll be on par with the top bracket players in the game, similar to how arshavin was in last years.

This season Bale has had a slow start as towards the end of last, he suffered with ankle injuries that kept him out, and now obviously defenders in the prem are a lot more wiser to his game, which consists of knocking the ball forward past his man and outdoing his marker with his raw pace and whipping in a deadly cross.

As for your money, I wouldn't get rid of all your ML players because remember if you only got expensive players in your team, the more money you'll have to pay to enter tournaments.

I'd imagine the top players will be around 2-5 million to start with so you just need to play a fair amount of games in Div 5 to get a world class player who will be much less than 13 million to start with

I think the good players to buy this year that would have significantly improved from last year are Nuri Sahin, Neymar, Sanchez, Nasri, ageuro, rooney, nani, Neuer, Wilshere, Kroos, Modric, Hart, Carrol(due to hype), Hazard, Mata, Silva, Santon, Pedro

As I said elsewhere, this is the team I'll aim to get within the first week or two, will be tough to get them all but it's the early aim.

LB: Baines or Fabio

CM: Huddlestone
AM: Coutinho
LM: Young
CF: Hernandez
CF: Van Nistelrooy (Welbeck, Di Santo or Odemwingie as backups, RVN best be in MLO this time or I will riot!!!)

Probably be a tough task to get all of those within a week or two, only time will tell. Once I've achieved something like that, the focus will then be on bigger players of course, Rooney is a must as I'm a massive fan. I'd also like Beckham, but I take it he's not in MLO? Time will tell.

Also, I like to test and try players out. You can have above a 90 OV but if I don't really like the feel of that player, then I've got no interest of using them. I'll be avoiding the likes of Messi as usual anyway, just doesn't interest me. I'll aim to get my basic team first and only once I have that done will I begin to aim for bigger players. Cant say yet really until I play the fall game as I've only used the players on demo 2 so far.

As for player values, we'll see. If you're getting it on the 14th like UKers etc, then the values will already be quite high by then. Once it hits the UK, give it about a week and most top players value will have sky rocketed. So if you're desperate for some of the top players, then maybe get them as early as possible to get them cheaper, but that'll mean sacrificing money and other areas of your team, so your decision mate.

My final dream deam doesn't include messi or ronaldo.
What I am thinking is if I buy them now, how much will they appreciate in how much time frame so that I sell them for profit.

I'll be looking to build my team differently this time, strong defenders with good response, decent dribblers and passers in midfield, pace and power up front. In terms of what I've seen from the demo's, I'll definitely be looking to pick up Samuel Eto'o and Maicon.

from what I've seen in the demo, sneijder, cambiasso, bale and robben are must buys. I've scored so many long range shots with sneijder its just ridiculous.

I don't understand why lennon the one trick poney is so highly rated on the game. I mean 90 overall rating. He's a good player but not world class, as he's too inconsistent in real life.

He might be this years arshavin/mess hybrid

Eto'o has great agility. Simply put even when not sprinting he's a nightmare for the AI to handle. Simply dribbling with L1 or R2 with Eto'o makes him a great forward in terms of holding the ball up by being such a wriggly so and so.

I've yet to score with Eto'o because he's doing so much work across midfield as well :laugh:

He's definitely a first purchase for me on MLO. Shame they reduced his stats though. Quite a bit as well.

If I were getting the game, I'd spend all my time on the first day of MLO looking for good cheap players.

There were a few who cost pennies in pes11 who were solid players that had their values rocket. Certainly will be more this year

I agree with you but I'll also be saving for one of the big name players, keeping hold of him for a while and then releasing him when his price has sky-rocketed and coin in the difference.
