Modify the Annoying Offsides Calls

I've been following football since the 2006 World Cup and correct me if I'm wrong but is this situation considered off-sides:


The forwards are running at the goal, with possession of the ball. The one with the ball, shoots it. The ball deflects off the goalkeeper, having been saved, but rebounds to another striker. Now, when the ball was first struck at the goal, the second forward was offsides. But it wasn't a pass! It just happened to deflect to him. PES will call this as offsides

I've never seen this called in real life. I was hoping they took it out in PES 2010, but if you watch the second video in the GAMESCOM thread, at 1:19, it pop up.

Correct me if I'm wrong though, I'm not a know-it-all by any means.

No, i'm pretty sure thats an offside call.

Er, sorry, but that does count as offside. They don't happen often in real life but when they do, they're offside.

yeas its offside whether its intentional or not, I wish they would fix your attacking players being so slow on the attack, many times I had to cut back to make a cross because nobody was following me and when I actually cross the ball some bastard is offside, gets to me every time it happens.

oh well, i guess, it's an official rule then, LOL. mistake on my part

hopefully Konami will decrease the pinball occurrences then, where the computer will desperately throw me back the ball and call offsides. i'm laughing even thinking about it.
