MOL - How many games have you played?

I don't get it.

How do so many people have 500 or more games played already? I play MLO a lot, and only have about 150 games played.

If someone has like 650 games played does that mean they cheated, or are there some people who simply play the game all the time???

My beef is that it seems like over half the time I end up being matched against a team with Messi, C Ronaldo, Villa, Arshavin, Chech, Aguero, etc, even though I've selected to only be matched against "similar" level opponents in the network options menu.

I'm just getting sick of my $22 million squad being constantly up against $40 - $80 million teams. It's almost like MLO has turned into the normal online mode, where everyone chooses Barca  except I don't even have the ability to choose a similar side :crymore:

I know I sound like a poor sport, because I can't beat these guys who have such better teams, but it would help me to know if most of these guys are cheaters, or simply losers who have no life and play the game 24-7. Either way, my point is there are a lot of people with super-star squads but without the skills to match. And yet, they think they're pretty awesome for being able to beat my lack-luster side with cheap goals and tactics. Makes me want to quit on the game for this year, but for some reason I keep coming back...

ive played over 2000 games in mlo and i certainly dont cheat, yes ive got a good squad but ive put in plenty of time to get it. if anything ive had to do a hell of a lot better than most cos for the first 2 1/2 months i had a cxn problem and the game kept dropping out causing me to lose millions of £ and ranking points. most people that have good squads have put the hours in, but there has been more cheaters this year due to the comp cheat when the game first came out, but a lot of those players are crap, even with the superstar squads.

^Thanks. It's hard to tell the difference you know, and that sucks for those of you who earned your all stars the hard way. I thought you were all cheats!!!

Also, sorry for calling you a loser with no life... But I find it amazing how much some people must be playing the game to have the squads they do without cheating! I think my problem is that my hand/thumb gets tired after about two games, so I can only play about 1-2 a day.

Anyway, this answers my question, so thanks for that.

I guess the next point to be made then is with regards to 2012. I think there should be more options to help make it so you can have even matches if you want. I just feel like with the amount of difference that players like arshavin, Villa, Messi, Ronaldo, etc have on the game that there should be an option to only play against people who have, say, an overall team value within 5-10 million of yours. I mean, 17 million versus 100 million... Why even play that game? It's not fun for the guy who gets his ass handed to him (not always because of skill IMO, but because of the difference in quality of players). Don't get me wrong, I have beaten teams much better than me, but more often than not it's like, oh, geez, why do I even have to play this guy???

At the end of the day, the very least is that there should be an option to only play people in your own division if you want. That would also provide a little bit more meaning to the divisions themselves, because currently they seem to be more or less meaningless other than being a status thing.

Had the game since release and have like 250 matches. I haven't played in over a month but if I kept up my pace I might be at 350.

and that was while playing in just about all my spare time

I played about 100+ and then considered what was I actually playing for?!

I'd still not managed to build a great team and without a proper league structure it got boring.

Still, if they were able to incorporate that into PES2012 I'd be racking up 1000s of games :D

I'm sure i've seen the option for that check online options maybe it says similar ranked teams or something like that so i'm guessing it must mean same division.

I've managed just over 700 games in 3 months i can guarantee 99% of the teams i play will have at least one of these players ronaldo, messi, arshavin, pedro, hulk etc thats why i will never have them in my squad plus i feel all of them are over ratted they can never do nothig wrong you can tackle them and they will still come out with the ball, blind passes perfect etc.

Theres a lot more things wrong with the game that pee me off more than users that just want their fast players in the team.

Yeah, I have checked that option. It doesn't do much. I still get matched up with teams from higher (or lower) divisions, and/or teams with 3 or more times as much cash as me.

One other thing I guess which is a factor for me personally is that I don't play a lot of cups, and also since I'm in Canada I got the game close to a month later than the rest of the world. Still, 2000 games!!!! That's 333 hours, or ~two weeks straight of playing the game non-stop 24-7 (assuming ten minute games).

I still don't get it.

like i said my amount of games was caused by dropping out in a lot of matches, resulting in only playing half games, sometimes not even getting to kick off!, and playing a lot of comps racks up your games quickly, it did also help that i was off work after having a knee op a week after the game came out, so i did hammer it a bit when the wife and kids were out!, there are major probs with how the mlo is done but for me it has given pes online a brand new lease of life.

Thanks, actually you clarified a few things that weren't clear to me in your previous post.

Also, since I don't play competitions that probably helps explain my lack of funds/games played to some degree.
