I was just wondering, what are the chances to have a first soccer simulation video game in the history of the human race. Tell you what, chances are low based on more than 10 years of monkey coding and mass kids marketing, time and time again FIFA and KONAMI have failed to code a realistic soccer simulation and each year after realizing that they FAILED, they start making new updates on graphics, modes, additional kits... and surrender the gameplay to the monkey AI to deliver a frustrating non-playable science fiction idiotic... name it as you wish... video game where winning is a matter of combo button pushing and buying top monkeys. If you are really happy and think that PES and FIFA series have been playable since the 90's then you are monkeys, otherwise show me how much you hate them

they have a few months only to fix the gameplay - ofc it won't be perfect,, nothing ever is.
I'd like you to make evry thing perfect and for dat 2 happen you have to motion capture evrything properly as well as 3d desingns on some high-tech machines.
It's not as easy as it sounds which is why konami have to take it year by year - hopefully 5 yrs later it might be perfect but trust me, it takes a lot of time

i dont want a perfect game, just a playable soccer simulation without the horrible defensive flows... also i am not a 3d or graphics fanatic, i dont care about graphics much... of course they should be OK, but do not stress on it... i am okay with graphics they have.

well first basic idea... please can we stop this:
1- defender running away from the ball?
2- silly stupid goals like own goals
3- keeper stupid rebounds
4- defense freezing
5- defense turning around in circles and not touching the ball...
6- defense runs away from the attacker when there is a through ball...
7- defense hunting down the attacker like a leopard and a rabbit
8- full court press lol, did i say that? does it really exist in soccer? hell it does in PES... please stop the monkeys from running a marathon for 90 minutes at full speed pressing the ball not giving a second to breath
9- stupid low crosses ending up in the goal every single fucking time...
10- very annoying small fouls that are not counted
11- very annoying non-foul tackles counted for fouls
12- stupid penalty system and camera
13- stupid free kicks where attackers always get bad positions giving no room to pass like real soccer
14- stupid goal keeper positioning, sometimes he is way to one corner and leaves the other open
15- stupid tackles and runs, where your player is affected by hidden forces... if i want to tackle i want to do it in my direction not where konami wants... same for running, sometimes players do not stop running towards the ball when i want them to stop!!!
16- ugly and idiotic offside traps, giving away cheap goals everytime
17- stupid corners/headers where the ball is locked to the attackers head even though there are 20 defenders around him u cannot defend this shit, reminds me of fifa 2000'sich. where did the freedom of pes go?
18- god the stupid marking system and leaving attackers wandering and wide open every single attack... impossible to defend this crap
19- of course the broken cursor switch
20- there are more... i need to remember

is that too much to ask for?!?!!??!!? 20 years of coding and still fails!!

I understand his frustration, we have been waiting for years for decent game play! FIFA 11 improved game play significantly especially in the animation department and i hope we would have a good soccer game this year whether from EA or Konami. I will support both.

I'm worried that Konami has been focusing too much on new features and AI improvement but left game play intact! I don't know if you agree with me but player movement in PES 11 felt like it had missing animations! player jerking when changing direction "not smooth".

I had hoped that you wouldn't ban him as he was the voice of frustration.

We love freedom of speech on this forum. Just search for a member for Tech_Skill and you'll find everything that makes a great poster in the PES section. Does he criticise PES and Konami? Hell yeah. Does he curse? You betcha. But does he come up with great concepts and ways in which PES can move forward, develop and progress? Yes.

Something MichelBallack hasn't done, and has never done in all of his posts. He has done nothing but repeat the same criticisms over and over, even interrupting threads to spam with these same points.

We encourage freedom of expression (as long as people don't insult one another of course), but we also encourage good ideas from the members as to how Konami can improve PES as opposed to purely criticising the game and saying something is "shit" as opposed to several great innovative ways in how to develop upon it.

Might as well close this thread now anyway.
