More kit templates and layers!

Mainly I spend more time on editing than the actual game-playing itself, and one of my main problems and disappointment has been when editing the kits.

Firstly I would hope that there were more templates/design based on the real kits from Adidas, Niké, Puma, Umbro and all the other kitmakers. Designs and small details are appreciated.

Secondly; In the previous games' when putting all the designs togheter in order to make the kit look realistic, the number of layers has always been a problem. In the previous games there was 4-5 layers.
I would be very satisfied if the PES team could make it possible for at least 8-10 layers when making the kits.

And one more thing; Changing colours on the boots are always welcomed. The possibility to make stadiums or edit stadiums would have been cool, but i reckon it's to much to ask for!

If there is a thread that is similar to this one, please take this thread and put it in that thread.

A message to the Konami PES team; Remember, the fans like details.

I think mate there will be more kit templates this year, and hopefully more variations then last time round. The annoying fact you couldn't get the arsenal home kit to look 100% correct annoyed me, but I'm sure that a template for this will be in this year as the new fulham shirt uses the same design for there home shirt this season. I have heard there is a boot and net editor too! and from pics I have seen on the barcelona and real players it looks like the nike vapours have been designed in boot editor as the inside of the boot looks different to how there really look! thou I may be wrong lol

Hehe an United fan that get's annoyed over an Arsenal kit:laugh:
But yeah I agree. Altough being a Liverpool fan I'll also got annoyed over it. When editing the Arsenal kit, it didn't become as identical as you'd like. Hopefully there will be more templates this year.

And another thing; Noticed when making Adidas kits? The three stripes where divided into parts. I hope the three stripes would be melted into one this year, and in doing so you also spare an extra layer or two. Maybe they can make some more styles of Adidas stripes.

1. The Adidas stripes that goes all the way from the shoulder down the arm.

2. The Adidas stripe style like we see on the new templates. Can be seen on the Chelsea and Russia homekit. And on the Liverpool white CL-kit.

3. Stripes that only cover the shoulders.

4. And stripes that stop on the top biceps. Like on Liverpool's home kit.

I read somewhere that there is still only 4 layers, & still the same amount of templates, although some of the designs are different.

I read somewhere I think on WENB edit mode disected

It said that there are 4 layers but more templates.. lets hope whatever the outcome we can cover all the kit designs properly..????

Someone also said it would be a good idea to have a template creator.. I think that would be a brilliant idea..

something similar to the edit mode on forza, place a shape on the shirt, stretch it or skew it then move it into place, may be hard to master but i'm sure i could make most, if not any kit with something like this

Disappointing to read that there are only 4 layers, I just hope for more templates.

Template creator sounds fantastic.

i was thinking it may be cool to have a seperate choice, similar to how the collar type is seperate from the actual layers that make uo the basic design of the kit, this one however could have different textures, like vertical stripes, diagonal stripes or just a mesh effect under the arms similar to many modern strips.

i used to make this effect myself in recent pes games by, notts forest for example, colouring the shirt red but putting a layer of stripes on in a slightly different shade of red.

i think an actual layer devoted to this would make the kit creations a bit more realistic

Some of the older versions of the kit editor on ps2 were brilliant but why have we lost these for the next gen console???? I think all the people who put in all those hours are superb and deserve any credit they get (which is usually very little). I really wish konami would push for a proper liecence this year as i believe they are well back on track with the game play again
