My PS3 makes a lot of noise when playing PES10, does yours?

No game makes my PS3 work as loud and hard like PES 10 does. It spins the disk so hard then slows down, then spins it hard again and this goes on forever. Other games seem to be fine and quiet.

Anyone else experiencing this ?

Mine doesn't tbh. Did you install it to your HDD?
Mine sometimes goes slightly louder than usual but nothing more.

Noise? Is the PS3 even supposed to make noises? Unlike the deafening noise of a moving disc in the 360, you shouldn't hear much from your ps3 when you're playing.

Yeah! I have 360 and ps3 and 360 sounds sometimes like a mix between hoover and blender.Ps3 is much much better if it comes to noise.

I hate my 360 for the amount of noise it makes. Still when you install the games it makes it so much quieter. I had the same problem with Pes 10 on my ps3 but installing it made it as quiet as a mouse! lol.

Totally noob question since I'm still somewhat new to PS3 but you do you install the game to HDD ? If I do that, do I still have to have DISC inside or not ? I have couple of things installed and saved like formation, online setup some other things but I don't believe I saved it to HDD.

btw - It's not that my PS3 is making noice, its very quiet but I can just hear the disc spin and stop, spin and stop, all the time and its just frustrating.

The disk will still need to be inserted in the ps3. But when you install the game on the HDD, the ps3 will load much quicker and it is safer since the exchange of data will be made from the hdd, so the ps3 drive will have less things to do and there,ll be much less damage to the drive since it won't be used that much.
Oh and when you save something from any game, it'll be saved on the HDD unless you have a secondary memory.:)
