New DLC and 1.04 patch coming this week!

Please Konami, make a patch so we can use all of these lovely preset faces/hairstyles in edit mode.....what's the use of this update if you don't...???

I just downloaded the new content and played a copa libertadores 2012 match. I didn't notice anything new in the gameplay. But all the teams and players look great. I'm a big fan of the libertadores.

I just wish we could play some of the last year's libertadores teams against this years, but they are two separate game modes.

well after playing the libertadores 2012 the game flow feels a bit better maybe faster dribbling .. but I'm not able to edit these new teams and players.. i also noticed a few kits that are wrong such as boca juniors and atletico nacional. so this makes me believe that this is just a beta/teaser for the cops libertadores that will be in pes 2013..

Sorry to make you dissapointed. You can only play with the teams in Copa 2013. Hell we can't even edit the new players....:realmad:

Its only the Libertadores mode from always but with the new Libertadores that is playing in this days. The only difference is that that players cant be edited, etc. They are only for play. It have some uniform updates and somes that have "mistakes" or dont be updated (example is Santos that have nike home jersey but umbro gk)

How do we enjoy them when we can't edit or transfer them.....???

It's like having Die Hard on Bluray but you can't look at it. You still have to look at the VHS

Is it me or is the gameplay a lot slower. But in a bad way, the ball feels like its moving in slow motion. Maybe I need to get used to it, too used to the fast old gameplay :erm:

I have been waiting all day for someone to comment on gameplay and not just CL. thanks Dieci

One of the notes I read somewhere is that gameplay would be slowed down.

but until I hear they have fixed the items that bug me most I am not sure I will take the time to put the disk in the machine.

The defender (#16) got the ball ahead of CR7 and then just turned and stared blankly at the ball until he shot the ball...

Why didn't he tackle? His friggin foot even hit the ball ....goddamn..

I don't notice any gameplay diffrence at all. Made a hattrick with Blas Sliskovic and 2 assists by Wiltord when playing with Rennes Classic!

I disagree. Definitely there are changes in gameplay.
First of all, I play on PS3.
On Professional level, the "AI cheat" has been tuned down. Tackles now are more effective (not always, but MUCH more frequently). Referees don't stop all the time for fouls. I haven't noticed anything related to changes on shooting or passing.
I haven't played on Top Player or higher to compared before and after patch. On Professional level, definitely the game got better. It is much more enjoyable to play.
I don't play online, so I cannot say anything about that either.

I think the game feels diffrent to when playing new Copa Libertadores 2012. Much slower pace at least and it is actually easier to defend. I play on professional. When I play exhibition with my classic teams I don't feel it is diffrent. Quiet strange. Maybe just newly updated Copa mode has updated gameplay to.

I noticed that the dribble speed was turn down a lot and the players now seem to be more supportive .. especially when attacking makes triangulation a lot easier
