tbh, I was thinking it was more Engrish. Super Happy Fun Time. We had good discussion of old PES terms for items like condition over a year ago.

I still don't like the fact that player names are in all CAPS. As I've said before, it looks untidy. I can't see why they won't give players a first name and a last name, like they do in Fifa. Would stop players having stupid names like ASHLEY COLE, and JOE COLE, when the rest of the team are just referred to by their surname.

i have actually come to like the FIFA style where a player name shows up when he receives the ball and then disappears versus PES having it up all the time.

Personally I think its looking very good. Not perfect, but a lot better. Annoys me in all the demos they show they try to take people on with Ribery and fail! Funny how the people who make the game seem pretty bad at it...

Would like to see some gameplay where they are not showing off things and just play a competitive match, because that's how its supposed to be played... Don't give a shit about heart, mass bla bla bla, do we need to know about it? I just want to know if its fun!

So far from everything we have seen I am unconvinced with PES 14. It still looks pretty robotic and rigid. The Goalies still seem to suck, and player reactions seem too slow.

Even though I'm looking forward to the demo, I fear it will be like PES13. They have really good demos and then the final game is nothing like them.

Demo should come sometime next week though, YAY.

I once took some images of PES13 using my cellphone cam(which is pretty awesome with bravia engine) and the images came out looking shit ....Only on replays the close up pics of Ozil,Benzema looked awesome. Somehow makes me feel that PES can't be judged based on scaled gameplay video and images....Only the demo on a tv will do...
I might zoom in a bit with the defauly cam till i feel the player models/Pitch ratio is near perfect.

I hope PES team understood the importance of animated scenes like awards celebration and so on. Hope PES 2014 BAL to be more like storymode, like movie. More animated, closer to real life simulation (like SIMS), more emotional, more epic.
