[NEWS] PES 2012 Demo #2 OUT NOW!

My rating is

1-2 dogshit
2-3 shit
4~ not good but not shit either
5~ better but still many issues
6~ good but some flaws
7~ very good but not great
8~ great game with very little flaws, some minor issues here or there
9~ amazing

anyhow, im going to list some fundamental things I think are some of the big problems so far from what I seen from the 1st and 2nd demo now, and I urge people here that say pes is amazing and great to prove me wrong.

- Keepers are quite bad alltho improved since the 1st demo

- Close control of players is way too good, players that have 60-70 Dribble acc. ( I checked ) keep the ball so close to their feet even when I hold R1 to sprint, its not realistic at all, its almost Messi like and thats 60-70 DA.

- I feel no difference between a fast and slow player or between a strong or weak player, I remember PES6 had a major difference that you could feel, here I don't have such a feeling, most players feel almost exactly the same, fast players don't seem fast and strong players don't seem strong.
*example Lennon with 97 top speed was running for a through ball and the defender from Rangers which top speed is low was running at the same speed as Lennon.
*example2 no matter how fast your player is you can't even close the gap once an opposing player is through even tho he is CONTROLING THE BALL which should make him slower.

Have not been in the forum for quite a while, been playing pes 2011, still, haha.
I think your rating system is good, but a little bit strict for rating video
games.(never played a game rated 1, like to try one someday)

I ve been reading people's views, opinions, reviews for pes 2012 DEMO 1and DEMO 2, since i have not played both demo1 and demo2, i do not
have much to say about both demos(especially demo 2), but i noticed on this forum a lot of pesfans who played DEMO 2 stated there are some obvious problems same as what MYSTERYMAN pointed out here, so i reckon these issues do exist and need to be sorted out before the
final product release, well, hopefully those flaws can be removed soon
enough as there are only 1 week left to get the job done.

Certainlly i am glad to see some good comments of pes 2012 put forward by gamers who played pes 2012 demo1 and demo2, i am optimistic as always for the upcoming pes 2012, i hope the final product
is much better than DEMO 2, somehow it is a game i ve been waiting
for almost a year to get and play, i am very very much looking forward to playing the final product, just cant wait.

Thank pesfans on this forum very much for giving me their feedbacks, opinions about pes 2012 demo1 and 2, some information over here are very useful and important IMO for me and other gamers(info like using
R3 for offball control). NICE STUFF.

PES 2012 will be out there for all of us all over the world soon, haha, lets all get ready to play.

I actually think the 2nd demo is truly awesome. I was already impressed having played a couple of minutes.

Huge improvement of the refs. Not as many whiny-free kicks as in pes 2011 and in the first demo of 2012. I'm really satisfied with this, having desired it for years.

Defending is improved a lot and it really works if you don't just run after the opponent like a mad man, but actually use the r2 to wait and release and press x when the time is right.

Also i think the teammate control with R3 is a cool feature, but maybe to effective - especially on corners.

Shooting looks great, but unfortunately the keepers are still not good enough, letting in way to many cheap goals.

Free kicks are too easy, but i can live with that

And finally Inter are not blessed anymore - their keeper doesn't save everything and eto'o and milito don't score every time they get through and Sneijder is not impossible to get the ball from.

It could be really great this year - in my opinion clearly the best pes on the next gen consoles.

I thought it was just me at this point - like I was too stupid to find it or something. Just finished cussing out the fact that I could not find it but jumped on and our collective wishes actually made my mind feel at ease. I'm not stupid, konami is. I imagine we are just waiting for the final release on Tuesday. I was hoping for a little playing time this weekend.

im getting the US version for the first time in a few years and i feel like were going to be missing out on the online updates the UK version gets..US get no love from konami
besides the earlier release date

I keep thinking the UK will get a different finished product than us. Konami is pushing the US date because of FIFA. I imagine the US version is completed and being shipped to the stores as we write. Meanwhile the konami team is still fixing those little things they wish they would have fixed on the BLUS release.
