No "advatage" rule anymore?

Yeah i noticed. It's affected me twice. Dunno why they removed it.

It happens rarely. Most of the time when you want to play on the ref will stop play.

In a way I am glad it is not in as if they did what EA did with FIFA and put it and it does not work then it would be annoying

On Fifa you get tackled play on and score and the ref pulls the ballm back for thr free kick also you are tackled the advantage sign comes up and the opponents get the ball and nothing happens

it happens to me a lot as the computer butcher me with GBH tackles, i have been lean through sometimes and the ref has pulled play back

Being that we are talking about refs, konami should fix the retarded reds they give out sometimes. I slide from the side get ALL ball, player trips over my foot, I get red (Has happened twice in ML). There should be no reds unless its last man or late game tackles from behind when you are down (revenge tackles). I was hoping they get this sorted out from 08 but i guess there's some serious coding behind does red cards .

And the ref continuously tries to fill in at sweeper whilst I'm passing the ball between defenders. So annoying and unrealistic. And he just points in random directions when awarding free kicks etc.

Well, the thing is - it DID work in PES.

The advantage rule happened to me. You need to be pushed not badly tackled, just like in real life.

Ye its still in the game, tends to only happen when its a shoulder down and not a slide tackle, always stops play for slide tackles.. had a great one last nite where i was beatinf my mate with hull, he was liverpool and it was 3-2 in the last minute, he was through wit torres and passed to gerrard but i took torres down and the ref stopped play and he got a free kick instad of the ref playing on and lettin him shoot... great stuff

yes he still plays on, BUT what he doesn't do is come back and book the player anymore. That was removed in last years game, and it is still not in 09.

Yeah I have noticed this. Sometimes even when there is just one defender left to beat. They definitely need to fix the rule parameters. FIFA 09's works well.

The ref keeps playing advantage when I'm hacked inside the area, and at no other time. It's really quite irritating.

Wrong > PES 2008 has it. Played it non-stop. Several times after I made a huge sliding tackle and the ref plays on, I was afraid to get a card when the ball went out, and many times I did. Tough I noticed that when keeping the ball long enough in play after the tackle was made, he somehow would forget it.

The rule is still there it just doesnt show the little icon on the top right of the screen anymore

But do the refs ever go back and book a player after the advantage is lost or the ball goes out of play? I'm sure they removed this from PES2008, never saw it happen. Another case of inexplicably removing a positive feature from the game

it exists, i see it all the time.
but its way way way better than in 2008.
