No league mode in pes this year

This is what I've been bemoaning for about two weeks now. Yes traditional league mode is gone but yes you can still have a league mode in ML. Plus people complaining about the boots, I like the idea of micromanaging my players a new twist to training.

I have to disagree for several reasons.

-Normally you could start a league without the management stuff so you don't have to deal with finances an the boot nonsens now. Just start a league with one or more teams, is not possible anymore. There are many people out there who play offline with one ore more teams in a league mode. Now Konami have taken that out.

-In a ML you HAVE to deal with all the management stuff which takes ages and you can only control one team. The first month I used to play League Mode so I could just update one League for time being and wait till Option Files and DLC were done to start your Master League.

Now there is no other mode offline than CL mode or Cups with nation sides. Cause even the Balmodesis with the 'booth' nonsens.

Konami have ruined it for many hardcore PES fans I'm sure. I'm even considering to switch to FIFA. and my last Ffa was 2001...

Don't get me wrong; I like the gameplay but I can't enjoy it at the moment.

you are absolutely right. The league mode was the only option i really played with a long time motivation. to take this out of the game is a abysmal stupidity. i do not play online so this is a massive desaster for me. Konami did the gameplay right this year without a doubt this is the best PES for the ps3 ever and they took away the league mode and they are once again not able to deliver a game which got the right transfers on release date.

We just had our 3-4times a year PES tournament - always used the community mode for that - but now it's gone! Arrrggg! Why. Had to do our tournament with pen & paper. :( Any chance of geting an update with a custom league mode?

I got the game yesterday here in Sao Paulo and today I tried to start a league, I didn't find it. Well, I thought the reason was that the game was not officially released in americas yet, so a DLC will solve this, but I'm surprised and disapointed because it seems we will be without league modes until this moment.

Because in ML you can't make another player take control of another team, plus you can't do random leagues like in Community league mode

its not my fault they removed a mode i don't play and if they removed the UCL it would mean EA has it and i would have that instead .

You come into a thread where people are trying to come to grips with their gameplay experience being ruined and make a post laughing about it and that you could care less as you only play UCL mode, and you're calling me a knobhead?
Then you make the argument that you're not immature simply because you're 29?...while stating that if Konami did remove UCL you'd have EA's to play so nyah, nyah, nyah.
I'll just shut up now mate - enjoy the game.

league mode is boring that why it was removed , i had fifa till 12 the game lagged in single player and was full of bugs so i got pes

There is a chance that they will bring it back, via i a patch i don't see why they can't use the code from 12 in a patch


there is loads of stuff removed but im not crying about it

legends mode online gone
pes shop gone
club boss gone (shit mode anyway)

well this sucks. i was finally leaving FIFA this year because I got tired of the arcadey gameplay and i hear the only mode i wanted to play in PES is gone. AHHHH, I was so pumped to get it when I heard that they had all La Liga stadiums and i could choose my team, Real Sociedad. Guess i have to cancel my pre-order and go a year without playing a football sim :/

i will tell you why league was removed cos , 98% of gamers on fifa and pes only play online

I'm glad you can pull a number out of your ass. The point is, no matter what percentage of people play league mode, why remove it?

As games move forward their should be additions that make the game better, and never certain modes completely removed.

Consider this. I've played FIFA the past few years and was convinced I was going to get PES this year. All I play is offline season mode, hence, it's back to FIFA this year or nothing at all.

I'm disappointed.

its true most people just play the online mode

they may bring it back via patch , if they don't maybe its a licencing issue

i dont think its about weather you like the League mode or not, Konami have taken an option away from those who do. and that cant be right. they may listen to people and repair the damage. i doubt it (Hope im wrong)
