Nothing updated after downloading update??

took me freakin ages to download the update n feels like nothing has changed within the game..

Defoe stil at portsmouth?
bellamy still at west ham?

the game just feels the same after downloading the update and installing it..

have i done something wrong?

yes! in the new update so are bellamy in Man City and Defoe in Tottenham.

for the update to work on my xbox do i need to delete my saved edit file?

and if so what implications will this have?

i can say it does work cause just the other day i couldnt get it to work cause i was downloading in the wrong place but its in the game in syatem settings and i realised that i never done the 1.20 update so maybe the download took longer it must have been an hour before comlete

got it to work on my bro's account.

i think the problem with my account is that im using a free months trial, perhaps ill need to buy a subscription for xbox live then it will work

ive got a ps3 and never had this problem before..

i think i understand the problem for me

my saved pes content i.e. edit files, replays etc was saved under "PES 2009" on my xbox, but the update was under "pro evolution soccer 2009"

so ive jst deleted the "pro evo soccer 2009 folder", and im now downloading the update, and hoping that it goes in the "pes 2009" folder

ive got a ps3 and never had this problem before..

when finished downloading restart the game and it should come up askin u to download it again. i thought the same then i remember hearin that u have to restart it so i did and it worked for me

I've had the same problem. Downloaded it, replaced my old 'edit data' with the file and nothing. Restarted PS3, also downloaded it from the game , asked me to do the same thing and again nothing!!

delete ur old files and then go to system settings and save to create a new updated one

Once you download in system settings.
go back to system settings and above download is install.

U then have to install it after downloading and restart and should be good.
