Obafemi Martins...why do you hate me?

So, my first season on BAL ends me up at Newcastle. I was an SS left footer who could obviously play on the wings. This clearly troubled Obafemi as I might have received ten passes from him all season. Also I seen that he made some really STUPID mistakes, for example shooting from the corner flag, shooting from the byline when I was COMPLETELY free in the middle.
Nonetheless I chalked it down to the AI. Until Dave told me that he feels that Martins hates him. Dave also signed for Newcastle (this time on the PC rather than on the PS3 for me) and I came to the realisation that it is Martins, not the AI. He is terribly grumpy! Does anyone else have this, where a player hates you?

I have a second gripe with Martins anyway, I reckon he's about 35 - LOOK AT HIM! He's a tank! I reckon his birth cert was doctored!

Yes had this myself at Newcastle. Martins refused to pass to me or any of the team once he had the ball. Even if he was in our half he would NEVER EVER pass. Its obviously an AI error with some players.

Yakubu on Everton is just the same.... Infact I've found a few CFs in the game to be extremely selfish when it comes to passing the ball to a high scoring AMF.

Borriello on Milan is the same way, although Pato is willing to make good passes to help others score.

I think it's a good feature that CFs thats selfish IRL is selfish in the game as well, but when I was at Newcastle I loved when Martins was CF, cause he played the ball when we had a counter (I was WF).

I was with Tottenham for 3.5 seasons. Darren Bent is so selfish....never passes when your free! I finally got my move to a big club...Torres is the perfect striker. He scores when I set him up and he always passes... he once squared the ball to me in the box..all I had to do was tap it in...Gooooaaaaaaaallllllllll!!!

I played for Newcastle once and its true, Obafemi Martins doesnt want to pass.
Thats why I keep scolding him in the game. I finally moved to a better club which is Barcelona and playing with Messi is really great.

i think strikers have ego problems...you cant expect them to be like arsenal's lads and attempt to walk it in all the time...they have the self belief that they can thump it past the keeper all the time.

When i first got into Man Utd it was great playing with Rooney, Ronaldo and Tevez, but now as I've got older (24) they're in their 30's and not passing as much anymore, especially Ronaldo. The only one who passes more frequently is Nani.

im at newcastle but its that leech owen who wont pass n wen he does pass its such a shit passs ;o

martins is always the better partner for me :S

used to have the same problem with Alves in Boro...
He never ever passed to me!
However after playing with him for sometime he has started passing to me (yes he is mostly selfish when he is in shooting range)
I think they start passing more when ur runs make more sense to them I got the runs i should be making in the boro tactics and i get much more passes now

same problem here but then i checked there teamwork rating and its nothing special so that may be the reason
