What about the scanned reviews? They both state how great PES3 is and how the gameplay is similar to PES2 and PES1. Think about it; if PES3 has been drastically changed, why wasn't it stated in the reviews. Konami couldn't of changed the core gameplay 10 days before the release, that would just be stupid. They (Konami) have probably already started to produce the game and are getting ready to ship it to PAL territories.

I don't think we will be able to change the actual gameplay of any version - just edit the names and looks etc.
GokuZool, most reviewers would say that PES3 is amazing compared to PES2 because it is miles better than PES2. But comparing it to WE7 is another matter altogether. Probably, not all the reviewers have played WE7. And in any case, it seems as if they were reviewing the beta in some cases.

I really hope they haven't changed it dramatically from the demo...
Frustrating as it invariably gets, I have been so looking forward to playing a fairer, fuller game. For me it just feels like there is a much bigger scope than with PES2, more realistic, more exciting.
It's the first negative comments I've seen, and I hope they're wrong/greatly exaggerated.
I'll be waiting for Gaza's longer evalution later with baited breath!

I don't care if PES3 is bad compared to WE, all i care is that its better than PES2.

Right the news is here you have all been waiting for ive played around 25 games today on pes3 full and complete store copy on 60hz mode.
1.It kicks we7 arse all over the place i will never play we7 again no disrespect ment as we7 is a class game as well ,
but this is faster smoother better graphics a few tweeks and overall more playable ,
headers and more real life and free kicks are a little easyer than we7 to score but still a big challenge the ball is addias champ ball,
international teams than ive seen that are sponsered are as follows arg , eng , brazil , italy , rep ire ,greece , france , nor , port , rom , scot , turkey , spain ,
Holland still not though.
I havent checked the club sides yet as for anybody jumping straight from pes2 to this it will take a while to get used to but the difference is like compairing hartlepool to man utd its that much better.
Also theres not a stutter in sight believe me ive played every single version right back to the first on ps2 we5 and ive played them all to death even before that on the ps1 as this rocks it kicks anything else available's arse.
I saw pes2 getting marks of 98% last year in mags and 9/10 you would have to give this 100% .
Ill try and find out more maybe about club teams ect later if i get chance if not tomorrow.

Fu*k me a patch already for the final version ive just been round my mates earlyer as i give him it to copy and try and rip to cd incase of patches comming out but didn't expect one this quick just finished burning it and hey presto all club names and badges are now right trad bricks are man u ect ect and club badges are proper.

Just keeps getting better and better playing more games now ive noticed theres more animations than in we7 and the pes3 demo , owens just took a ball down of his chest and spun on a sixpence the way he moved with the ball was something i havent seen in the demo or we7 , it looks like theres extra animations than in previous versions and the crosses to can do are amazing the ball moves like a dream.
Rio hasnt got blonde hair anymore either not than i suppose anybodys bothered about that just wish the silly twat had a better memory in real life.
Some of the movement looks out of this world you need to be really into the game to notice the little touches that are different
