Online Improvements...

My apogilies if this has been mentioned elsewhere.

My main problem with PES 09 online on the PS3 is that I am sick and tired and frustrated to the point of wanting to smash my controller off my face when people go Barcelona/Man Utd./ Inter etc when your room clearly states "NO BIG TEAMS"...sure, if people weren't arseholes we wouldn't have this problem, but why is there no option to exit the game before it starts? or if you use "Quick match", why can't you, again, exit the match if someone goes a team that you really don't want to play against.

It's also incredibly frustrating when using Quickmatch and your opponant has a poor connection, once again, this could easily be fixed by having an exit option, without having to wait til you're in game and when quitting results in a 3-0 default loss.

I HATE playing against people who have no other aim in the game than to give the ball to Eto'o, Henry or Messi and run past players, cut diagonally across my goalkeeper and put the ball in the net, or the good ol' fashioned cutback from the by line into the 6 yard box.

I want to play FOOTBALL and achieve my goals by playing good football, not just by having a faster player than my opponant.

Your first mistake then is playing Pro Evo online in the first place.

You can whine and whine all you want and fans of the series can send of as many letters to Konami as they want but none of it will make any difference. It is a Japanese 'thing' to have a closed mentality, hence why the series has stood still for such a long time to the point where it has now undoubtedly lost its crown by a country mile to FIFA, which has advanced tremendously in every single aspect.

I still enjoy PES offline providing I aint playing against some grasping money goal grabbing little prick (Rob McLean) who is overly fond of scoring these tight angled wonder strikes from 2 yards out...again and again and again.

To get decent games online you have to play your mates or people from a online community that play the game as a 'game' and generally scorn upon playing the game in a way that exploits the gaping holes in the AI.

If it aint to your liking.....you can always play FIFA 09....Seriously, its very good this year and the online functionality and the range of gameplay options is par excellence.

I have not played FIFA09 but i have been hearing that the online is the shit.I got rid of pes09 after 2 months because the online mode stinks as well as the game.A more in-depth online mode is needed plus a return to the glory days of ISS/PES.
I still play pes6 with the johnlennon classic OF when i need a football fix.

i used to play with tottenham, west ham, nigeria, and other medium teams but i got fed up of people choosing barcelona and man utd, so i decided to use my inter on their asses and guess what im winning easy matches, i dont like this i prefer a challenge but im just waiting to even up my record of wins and losses and then ill go back to my beloved small teams.

i think there is a way they can solve it for this problem , they must make an option that u can disable or unable i mean when your creating a room u will first make a rul like wich teams he can take it , this way he must take the teams that u have unabled , and it will be fair game . and sorry for my bad english .

Fifa online is one of the best online games ive ever played. Its incredibly addictive, exciting and for me 94% lag free. I just have a feeling this year online will return with a bang. Im sure with dedicated teams they've got it right this year.

yes i know but it is 1 of the biggest probs online cos when u play u m8s its an unwritten rule not 2 score them goals, the ai dont abuse it and is abused so badly online ...so i disagree

it need 2 be fixed to random condition and top player

the points earned should be revised to and try and make a motivation to use a small team and a deterant to use a big team say if you win with boca juniors u get 8 points and half a point for using a top team lol

cos i can put a good winning a streak wit a shitty team then get beat by some retard who just bullys my defence by running through my team and lose loads of points cos he in a lower league and has a lot less points

if your connec drops 2 red u should be kicked out of the servers to stop these retards who know how 2 destort the connec when they go a couple down mentioning no names

I like in Fifa the fatigue system. It works very well imo. In the first 10-15 minutes your players reactions and speed is extreemly high and results in an intense start but soon wears off and you need whit and killer passes to brake your oppenant down (if your not a Utd abuser ect) and then in the last 10 minutes i actually feel the need to make subs because my team is really getting tired, i have my back to the wall and reaction times and speed are vastly reduced.

I would like pes to convey this in 2010 and i think it would add a layer to the gameplay and make games a bit more realistic with players tireing and space openning up on the pitch.

I like the idea of you earning more points for using lower class teams. Im not a fifa fanboy btw but i would like Pes to introduce a star system like fifa's for each club. That way i know kinda how good Valencia are or weather Benfica are any good now days as i dont keep up to date with them. Also like in fifa i like the way (online) how they give you a specific amount of EA points for how well you have played like if i played some decent football, put crosses in the box, scored long rangers etc i would be rewarded with more EA points and its a specific reading of how well i played. I think that would be a good thing to have.

Apart from getting rid of the lag i cant think of much else i want atm.
