Why is it you can only play on beginner level online??

It makes it so crap that the keepers and AI are rubbish. Why cant you change the skill level??

Yeah you might get players who are rubbish at the game, but you can search for a person to play against on the same skill level, so why not give people the ability to search for people who are playing on beginner, world class etc etc

Would make online alot better, and also help to cut down on all the boring players online who just run run run an pass across the goal if the AI was on a higher level.

This is one of the main reasons I find online play boring, its to easy to score and all skill is taken out of the game when you can do things so easilly

Im sure this has been mentioned in another thread somewhere but its late and I cant be arsed searching for it, so no moaning please!

Too true. I was playing with Barca the other night and I could not believe how crap Eto'o, Henry and Toure were. No movement whatsoever, Terribly Disappointing!

No, you are unable to change the setting regardless of whose room it is.

It has really put me off online play, I really hope they set it to beginer to get everyone used to the game then up it to top player (via the update?)

Yeah keepers are shit.....defensive AI is shit...ball sticks to feet like glue.....made even worse by the fact that player in possession is 'host'.......and of course...the horrendous lag.

Dunno wot PS3 n 360 online is like but on PC, never more than a couple of 100 on at once....

Online makes me fucking despise the game so I try my best to refrain from playing it. if i was a console gamer I reckon I might have made the jump to FIFA for top class online functionality.

(Offline PES 2009 tho is sheer class)

Yes, everybody knows fifa09 in console rocks, online is great. But fifa09 pc sucks, it has so many bugs and shit its worse than pes2009. The only real thing missing in pes09 online mode is to make the AI smarter, prevent messi or c.ronaldo from running past defenders like they are super humans. The lag really, it is not that bad if you play against someone thats close, say in ur own country, DO NOT EVER PLAY AGAINST PPL FROM OTHER CONTINENTS... i live in the U.S and tried a few games vs ppl from germany and england, wow, rooney and tevez teleports a lot...

its so hard to find US gamers online, many times I just go online and try my hand. I hold my own even with the lag... but some frustrating stuff happens.

I was once using Fiorentina vs. Barca.. game was tied 1-1 and with 10 minutes left I get a corner, and on my end, Gilardino headed the ball past the goal line.... but a second later the ball teleports to messi near the half line, he dribbles past everyone and scores. Wonderful. This game online is a good excercise in anger management

Mc_Duds, i hear you man, the lag is crazy. thats why from now on i only play against ppl from this continent (america) and the hell with europeans and asians.
