Outdated Kits

How much you guys want to bet that the majority of 'licensed' international kits will be already out of date come release day?

All new Cup of Nation shirts have now been unveiled but I'm 95% sure PES 2010 will still have the old kits. In PES 2008 all the international kits were outdated within a month of the game being released. This is why I really wouldn't care about licensing.

With that said, they could always bring out an update but considering the last update was solely for the new England kit although there were at least 6 other kits needing updated, I can't see Konami bothering their arses tbh.

What I would like is for us to be able to edit the licensed kits.

nice in theory, but never gonna happen. :( why would konami bother with licences if as soon as a new kit came out you would change the one they paid for in the game to the new one

although if they are serious about dlc this year.. and it was fairly priced.. why not get a world cup pack... with updated kits.. especially with the new graphics.. it would be sweet

They would bother to get more people to buy the game?

i dont really see being able to change licenced kits a major problem other than i wish you could add stuff to them eg. designing the badges on sleeves etc.. or if they wanted to offer updates as dlc to update the kits

what i would say is that every year they should add more stuff to the editor rather than cut stuff out... id like to see league badges on shirts editable, as well as the back and sleeves of the shirts being more flexible.. so you can do complete designs eg logos on collars.. socks etc..

i do see your point with licensed teams, they could do an option where you could design it from scratch... but i can't see it happening..
