Patch 1.02- Possible Big Issue with Finances

Guys, ive just thought of a potential issue, if the transfer fees for players have increased, but the budget and money you get for winning games stays the same.... Aren't we gonna have an issue where after buying a few players your team is gonna be broke and have no money?

Can somebody somewhere, answer, test or investigate this please?

But I'm sure more teams will start to make offers for your players if you're doing well...

As per my post in other thread......

Im open to clear evidence to disprove this theory, and i want to be wrong, but so far im not seeing it.

Real Madrid's budget is about 198 mil.

That goes down to 98mil after wages etc.

Now before, you could sign a bunch of players 4/5 really good ones and have at least 60 mil left to start the season.

But here my question, if cost of signing players has gone up by huge amounts.

If you wanted to buy 4/5 players that could cost you about 60 mil lets say...

Therefore that would mean you have 38 million left for the rest of the season.

Even if you add on 50 million for winning home games etc.

Next season you have about 88 million.

Now my question is this, next season, do you get another 100 million on top of what you had from last season? because that 88 million might not be enough to pay next season's wages?

Aka, your fucked financially now, whereas before the patch, you were not.

Again, I hope I am wrong.

Okay, this REALLY needs looking at ASAP, unless we are missing out on something, this makes Master league a waste of time.

---------------------------------------------------------

Can someone help with the following?

Just for the record, started a season with Real Madrid.

The budget was 255 million.

After salary and operating costs I have 124 million.

Expected earnings are for the rest of the season are +74 million (Sponsorship and income)

So does this mean I start next season with at least 198 million??

Because even if don't buy ANYONE, after salary and operating costs, I will have to pay another 124 million right (wages should be roughly same as last season?) meaning I will start season with about 74 million?

So, i'm already about 60 million pounds down on last year and that's even before I have bought players which are FAR MORE expensive than they used to be, so if this is right how long can this be sustained for? surely you would have to keep selling no matter what to be in profit?

edit: read this, guy is having the same issue.

Hello mate! I started yesterday my second year in ML (the first after the patch) and as Rainey says you have a lot of incoming negotiation requests for your players.. I started the new season with +2 new sponsorships and now I gain 120.000 euros for every home win.. It could be possible that every year your sponsorship deals will increase as long you are at a high team ranking position, so maybe there will be no problem aftre all.. I bought Robben (50mil.), De Rossi (30mil.), Cavani (30mil.), Suarez (15mil.), and many bench players for 1-2 mil. each, but I did sell many players too that were over 30 years old or had lower ratings then the new I brought (Del Piero 15mil., Amauri 26mil., Qualiarella 28mil., etc..).. On top of that I discovered on my youth team Henry, Kanu, James and Marshall (GK's).. I signed up with them and I think after some years of loaning and using them I will be able to sell them at a good price (when I saw this players in my youth my investments in young players were at 5.000.000 and not ath the top 10.000.000.. I changed it to 10.000.000 after that, so i think many and better young players will be soon in my youth team.. So i managed to have a new, younger and better team that costs me 70 mil., and have with everything paid off + 40mil. at the start of the season, so I don't see a financial problem coming if ML continues to feed my team with young talented players, and gives me a lot of money even if i sell older players that are at the end of their careers..
