You need to have your PS3/Xbox connected to the internet, you then have to boot up your PES 2010 disc, a screen will come up telling you that you need to download the latest patch (1.03)

Download it and voila!

To notice immediate gameplay changes just try a 1-2 pass with the triangle button, you'll notice the difference then.

After played more than 20 matches after downloaded the 1.03 patches file. It seems have some different with the impression from first few games.

Ball Speed = Absolutely lower than previous.

Dribbling = more easier and effective

Cheap goal from crossing = maintain as previous

referee = it seems back to normal as previous before patch which is idiot at all after so many games tried

So many in this forum have different opinion after the 1.03 patch. Honestly, i noticed some changes...but just little only........

For your iformation i'm on ps3 Winning Eleven. I had sold my pes2010.

noticed the difference and liking the game much more since the patch.
it's so obvious that i can't believe some don't feel it.

Maybe only WE got gameplay update. I got NA Pes and since patch I got whacked from behind a million times and not a single foul went my way, exactly like before. Dribbling is the exact same, not made easier in the slightest. At first I questioned whether the pace of the game went down a notch but it depends on the stadium and weather conditions anyways so I tossed the idea. The pace (on professional) was already slow enough to the point of my liking so no big deal there.

i'm playing PES so that's not it.
i really feel the difference because i didn't like the game at all but now i'm looking forward to playing so i don't think its in my head.
liking it very much now.

I didn't notice the refs either but they are slightly better. But the pace of the game is slowed down and dribbling is slightly better too.

Must say I have noticed slight differences which have improved the speed of the game and the referees.

The game has slowed slightly which makes for a more fluid game and I'm actually getting some decisions from the referees!

Still no penalties yet though, although I'm sure there's one just around the corner!!!

PES2010 on PS3 by the way.

I took round my copy of PES 2010 to a mate so he didnt have any updates, patches installed. Played the game and it felt totally different to when i play it with the updates etc on my ps3

Since its come out the game has changed allot.

People have mentioned a new DLC with new boots/balls. I've got a PS3 and have just had to update to v1.03, however there is the exact same choice of boots as before the update.

Am I missing something here?

What's about the controller-problem?? When you play together with a mate, each game you must adjust the controller no.2 (the game reset each time after a game this one back to neutrally)! Sorry for my bad english, i'm italian...

because you have to play in community mode. I cannot stress this enough

if you're going to play with your friends you're supposed to play in community mode

so you can save controller configurations etc.

Are you kidding me???:unsure: And when the friend isn't connected with the i-net, how we can play in comm-mode?:shocking: Is there a way to do it anyway??

Read the fucking manual, that way you would know that Community mode is not the same thing as Online Mode.

Community mode is played locally with your friends, no Internet required.

wrong, you can't play together with a mate in one team in community modus

You can in fact.

But I actually misunderstood the italian user, I didn't realize he was talking about co-op instead of normal controller configurations which reset for player 2 every time the game is reset.
