Sorry for asking a stupid question, I have intalled the patch following the instructions and the data is ok however I am still having the old kits and no new stadiums and boots. I have already run kitserver and it states that it is installed. Is there anyone who can help me.Thanks!

be sure that kitserver is in the right place, it should be in the pro evolution folder (not the one in documents)

It is in my pro evolution folder. However the old img folder is also in that folder. Could it be the reason why I am experiencing this problem?

if you have used default directories, it should be something like this:

C:\Program Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 2009\kitserver

means the kitserver is there, next to it are the exe files and a folder named img (which u will not copy anything inside and dont modify it too)

and be sure that you have copied the edit file in the right place which is in the save folder in documents, be sure that it the edit file is working

then be sure that the files are all there (sometimes the download or unrar can defect the files)

My kit server is in that very same folder which you have stated.
The edit file is also in the right place however I cant open it to test it as I do not have an application that can open it.

ok do this:

inside the game, go edit, then go load, and confirm when it asks, if it loads without any problems its good.

btw did u use the exe files included in the patch?

However everytime when i load pes 2009 there is an error which reads "This application has failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.

LOL man!!! that changes everything!!
this means kitserver aint workin, reinstalling directX should solve your problem ;)

yes, ill try to include his face in the update, for now go edit mode in game and edit the player to default face and hair.

there will be no updates for the 1.5, a new patch (1.7) will be out before the end of the month, everything will be up to date.
