Hey Dido, i see you keep answerin other questions but mine still hasnt been answered for a month,can you tell me what is going on with this?
are you gonna have a solution for my questions below?

where do i get another kitserver?
and will i still have all the same jerseys that i have in my current kitserver?

I downloaded Kitserver 9.2.0.4 and overwrited the 2 folders that came in this update, they were kserv.dll and kload.dll, i thought this might fix it but still, when i press 1 or 2 i get the message SMOKE PATCH GDB 2010 under the player and then the game crashes.
Which Kitserver should i get then?

also i tried to rename my portugal pc folder to pa to replace the old jersey with the new one (which is in the pc folder). after i did i still got the old jersey appearing in the game, not the one in the pc folder but still the one in the pa folder. why?

please help me out on these questions

this is a kitserver issue, and frankly i dont want to change the kitserver and risk crashes only to get to choose a third kits.

if i find a solution for this i will include soon, if not then using a 3rd kit will not be supported.

Great patch man !!! I have a question, how can i change the skin colour of some player... or edit his face? And, is there a possibility to create a new national player ?

hey, u can edit any player in the in-game editor, also i recommend using an external editor such as pes 2010 editor, to create a new player u can choose a non registered player and edit him

ok, thanks for the help, no problem then, i guess its not so important to be able to use 3rd kits if it would result in the game crashing or have other issues.

hey smoke m8 all was gd in the game but when i try go to look at liverpool kit it crashes and some other teams do u have any reason why this could be happening thanks m8

i fixed that by not replacing the liverpool kits in the last update 2.4.1 , i keep the previous kits for liverpool for last 2.4.0 smoke patch

i have a problem with the patch.

I did all whats required:

- extracted the files from 1 to 6.
-overwrited the PES2010_EDIT.bin and PES2010_OPTION.bin into my documents/KONAMI/Pro evolution soccer 2010/save
- overwrited pes2010.exe and settings.exe
- went into kitserver map/manager and both of the files were attached.

now here comes the confusing part for me!!

there is the smoke patch 2.3 logo, but ass soon i PRESS A BUTTON to go to the menu bar, it says: [EDIT DATA] do you wish to overwrite this data?

what ever i pres YES or NO. i does the same, install a new addidas boot, and save!
when i go to edit team to see the results.
It shows me bundesliga with some players called, player 23, player 24 etc. arsenal is still called north london even if it's embelm is the right one. bosnian international is not right. and eredivisie clubs are in euro leaugue.

what do i do?!!
i tried it a couple of times now and still the same.

i'm runnin the game on laptop windows 7 and there aren't any problem as far i see. it runs it on the highest (1355x768) 683:384.

hope i get answer from the Smoke himself or someone who might be able to help me!

from the trouble shooting file included in the patch:

* game missed up when the game asks me to apply downloadables:

- delete this folder: C:/Documents and settings/All Users/Application Data/Konami/Pro Evolution Soccer 2010/download

then copy the save files another time from the patch to the save folder of the game

if you have windows 7 or vista look search for the download folder and delete it

welcome back,, the 2.5 is not released yet, will be out in a couple of weeks, the latest is the 2.4.1 + fixes
i would recommend wait the 2.5 as there are a lot of changes and updates and most important stability.

Hey.
Ive almost completed my first season of ML on this patch but now suddenly my game often crashes after a game in ML. Sadly i cant turn on the reset prevention mid season. because it seems to crash when loading something. Any1 know any help?

Thanks for all the work that must have gone into this patch, it has turned my PES2010 from an ugly and almost unplayable pile of tripe, into a truly beautiful game.
Been struggling like hell since upgrading to a new pc with Windows 7 to get this game running anything like expected, tried allsorts until installing this patch.
Only problem I have, is trying to suss out kitserver. When I originally installed the patch as desribed in the readme, kitserver is allready attached to the exe. Now I am trying to get kitserver to run the game faster as it still feels a little slow for my liking. I have tried using the config to change settings and saving them, but when i go back to the game it has made no difference. So I tried detaching from the exe, so I could alter the settings then re-attach kitserver, but it I get an error saying failed to remove kitserver, and to make sure the exe is not read only. So made sure it wasnt read only and tried again, still says the same thing. Am I doing something wrong, and if so can you possibly explain what I need to do?

Well, running kitserver as admin did the trick with detaching and reattaching. However it doesn't seem to make any difference when I alter the settings in kitserver, tried changing the LOD and game speed but both seem exactly the same whichever way I have it.
