Did a new clean install.

the patch look great dido, thx for everything.

i have a question that not necessarily have a conection to your patch, but mayB you know..

you know what can have an infulence on the sound in PES? in windows xp, i didn't had problems, but in windows 7 64 bit, i tryed two diffrent sounds cards (1 on board), downloaded the lest drivers, the sounds in windows are ok + mp3.. but in PES i have a feeling that it's not like it shoud be, i can bearly hear the tuch of the players in the ball, things like this, i only hear loud the crowd and the commentator. (and it's not only in your patch) .
in the game himslef i tryed to low the volume of the comentator, but it's not this.. it's like there is missing sounds or somthing, i bearly hear the pitch.. you have an idea?

(btw, if i want to the defult sound of the chants what shoud i remove?, to loud for me - or mayb becouse of the sounds problem there isn't balance)

ok people, here is the news:

the bad news: the patch is not stable, a lot of issues found.

the good news: all problems is being fixed now, and a stable 2.2 will be out soon.

Change log so far, PES SMoKE Patch 2.2 (full):

- Added New faces (all slots are used)
- Fixed the (no string) problem in menus
- Fixed some portuguese teams not shown inside the game
- Updated winter transfers
- Fixed some crashes when selecting some teams in exhibition mode

estimated release date: 29th jan

patch work great but i cant save edit if i change team squad in edit mode, it always back to patch deffault tactick
how to fix it ?

this does not happens when i try it, maybe it will be fixed in the 2.2
i suggest using (PES 2010 Editor v1.8.1)

yes, but it should be correct if you its installed correctly, try to reinstall everything and then install on a new copy of pes.

be sure to delete this folder: C:/Documents and settings/All Users/Application Data/Konami/Pro Evolution Soccer 2010/download if it exists.

no luck mate..the kits are still not right for some teams...i hope it will be ok on your next release

The main problem I noticed right away was that some of the menu is messed up

for example when I press start button when I play, insead of saying formation, sound etc. it just says "NO STRINGS" this problem is show on other menus aswell

edit: one question though, do I need the 1.1 or 1.2 official patch? because for me all the team names are wrong, like the original version

I still get a runtime error on ML. Is it because it is an old ML file? And I still cant find E Elia (hsv) in the netherlands database!

after installing the patch you might have to restart a new ML to benefit the new stuff in your game

Hey Dido something hit me the other day, changing the game speed in the config might be the problem of ML crashing. It might not be the patch after all.

Can anyone else confirm that please ? I'd really appreciate it.

Hey again,

After some crashes I reinstalled PES. Brand new. Installed 2.1, did everything I should have. Now I get a crash every time I start PES!

the patch does INCLUDE the 1.3 version of the game, please do not update the game, it will be updated when the patch is installed.

Yo Dido, i donwloaded 2.1 on Thursday and have been enjoying it since, but one question, Is there anyway of updating from 2.1 to 2.2 without having to download all the patch again?

i understand this, and could be done but i have uploaded a full version for stability issues, i do suggest you installing the 2.2 complete.

the 2.3 will be only update (release next month)

man i still got this most championship teams having this bate kit problem...for example newcastle have bate kit..and also sevila have some other kit..but when i chk sevila gdb folder the kit was wrong there.but all championship teams have right gdb but they show this bate kit in game don't know why ..can u help me with this...i did the instaltion as u said..its still showing wrong kits..is it do with something else...when i thought it will be solved if bate kit is removed then this Newcastle team has arsenal kit....may be u might not have noticed this..i chkd every single team in the game....only these championship teams have wrong bate kits..every other team has right kits.why is this happening?? really need help cause this is an awesome patch.
