I cannot stop stressing that the "cant save formation" bug is a huge one which IMO should be on top of the list. I believe the key now is less updating kits, balls, etc and more bugfixing.

I gotta agree with this, I've tried many ways to save formations and team lineups in-game, and I just can't, it's impossible without Pes editor. Please fix this, and if there's nothing to be fixed, then what the heck are we doing wrong?

OK Dido I've Noticed A New Problem The GK Delac Of Chelsea With Rating Of (~ 50) When He Transfered To Another Team Its Rating Became (82) And When I Transfered Him To My Team Its Rating Kept On Going Lower ..... Also There Are A New Players That Join The Teams From ML Youth Their Rating Are Very Much Higher Than Its Real One And Also When I Transfer Him To My Team Its Power Keep On Getting Lower ..... Plus I've Noticed That Ozil Rating When He Is In The Age 23-24 Keep On Going Lower And The Player (Diekmiere) Rating From The Beginning Is Going Down Inspite Of That They Both Are Young Players ... !!?

this kind of stuff should be fixed in the 2.5.2, but will require starting a new ML save, which should be good because the 2.5.2 have more accurate player prices along with other enhancements, ML with the new update should be fun

i just tried going into edit mode and selecting those teams and found no problems, but i am using the 2.5.2 so i think whatever the problem was it should be fixed.

Weird graphical issues

Hi Dido. I have just recently installed Smoke 2.5 patch but I am having these graphical issues. Do you know what I did wrong ? I just installed a clean install and follow your instructions carefully. Even I installed patch 2.5.2. Thanks in advance and as always congratulations for your work.

you installed 2.5.2? is it released? i think if you change the scoreboard the problem will be fixed

first time i see this one, try changing the aspect ratio or screen size settings.exe
tell me if you find a solution there.

btw, that is not even the scoreboard of the recent smoke patch series, its fragments of the scoreboard used in the 2.0 version, this is really strange :/

This is for every single team. I'll explain it the best I can.

Let's say I want to change Ac Milan's line-up and formation. I want to change AC Milan from a 4-4-2 into a 4-3-3, and I want to insert Flamini into the line-up instead of Gattusso. So I go to Edit>>>Team>>>Edit Team>>>Ac Milan, I move the positions around and sub flamini for Gatto. I then press ESC and Confirm. Then, when I try to escape to the main menu it asks me if I want to save and overwrite the existing data. I press yes and then escape back to the main menu. Then, I can immediately go back to Edit>>>Teams>>>Edit Team>>>AC Milan and voila! it's back to 4-4-2 with Gattusso instead of Flamini. I can't save formations, line-ups, or even captaincy changes cause the save just won't stick. The weird thing is that if I try to edit any player and go through the same procedure, the save sticks and it works perfectly. It just doesn't work with teams. The only way I ever edit line-ups and formations is through Pes Editor and that's much more complicated than doing it in-game.

Like I said before, maybe the many who have this problem are just doing it the wrong way? If that's the case, I'd appreciate if someone can tell us how to do it right.

Hi Dido,

Have installed this patch (ver 2.5.1 in Windows XP) for a while. It seems running smooth as I have finished playing The UEFA Champions League without any trouble. However, I face the followings in the Master League: ( Playing Man United in EPL)

1. The game crash to desktop after the FA Cup final game finished. It crash at the point the referee is to blow the whistle. It should be the referee blow the whistle and the player celebrates but as the scene is about change to the referee, it crashed.

2. I bypassed the FA Cup final with the coach mode. It crashed to the desk top again as I finished the season. The same thing as above as scene of player celebrating should be shown.

Can you look at this and suggest a solution. Thanks.

Apart from this, this is really a great patch and I very much appreciate the effort that you have put on it. Thanks a lot.

I tried changing aspect ratio and doesn't work either. I keep getting those broken borders of the scoreboard. Also noticed a slowdown while showing rendering the shields of the teams. The game works fine though. Maybe the issue is due I'm using new ATI catalyst drivers 10.7 and that I play a spanish version of PES. I don't know. Maybe I screw it up in the process to updating to 2.5.1
I will try reinstalling up to 2.5 first.

First things first,

A big props to the OP for this patch. I have yet to try it but it looks absolutely fantastic! I just recently got PES2010 for PC and was a little disappointed with the lack of players and teams. This should work out nicely!
Also, apologies if this has been answered already but the thread is quite long now and I can't wade through it all, but:

Does this patch allow you to buy players in the Master League mode that are not on Master League teams? It seems that this is a new addition to the game and I'm honestly not that crazy about it. I really used to love searching through tons of players to find great potential for the future of my squad.

can you try with english language? if it works fine tell me so i can check the spanish folder.

all players are available in the patch even free agents, specially with the new unlocked 2.5.2 version coming soon (will require a new ML save), ofcourse some free players are registered as youth team in other clubs so you cant see them in the list until the team promote them to 1st squad. so if you are looking for a certain player and couldnt find him wait a season or so and search again.

I Do Hope That The New ML Should Be Fun And Having No Crash Or Wrong Stuff Problems In The 2.5.2 Update So I'll Be Wating For It (Can You Give A Release Date Please)

Yes You Are Right When I've Opend The Game And Tried To Select Those Team No Problem But When I Started The ML And Then Tried ... The Game Crashed
