PC Troubleshooting Thread (PES 2009 FULL GAME ONLY)

:realmad:Mine crashes in ml mode at various time's(2nd season 4th game in vs arsenal crash..1st season after 12 game's crash) but when it doe's it blank's out my save file but it tell's me what week im on year etc..but if i try to load the save file BOOM back to desktop:realmad:Ive not tried legend mode yet so can not comment on if it crashes there cl seem's to work fine and ive played shit load's of exb matche's with np..I was running the game on 1900x1200 res but read on evo forum's that any res above 1280x1024 is causing the crashe's so ive turned it down so far no crashes but im not convinced that this is the problem hmm another dodgy release.. wtf is the point of beta tester's when they release it with load's of bug's :erm: :no:

As abondanzieri says, I have a problem with the game speed, it runs at around 1.5x the normal speed.

I have actually helped a few people out before with PES2008 who had the same problem, but I forgot the procedures to solve it.

Here's my specs:
Vista 64-bit
Intel Core Duo 2.40x2
NVIDIA Geforce 8600 GT (256)
5GB RAM

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

-when I get in a match room and press "match start" after that the connection is lost It is the same as in PES 2008....My ports are open?If u got an idea ?

Hey guys i got pes 2009 yesterday on pc and i also have fifa 09 and tbh pes is better but whenever i play pes and click exit the game just goes to a black screen and then i have to switch comp off manually with the button so does anybody know how to fix this or what the cause is.

yes!! when i play the game runs perfectly......but what the hell r the replays about?? they run at greased lightning speed and theres no way of changing this..... they all run around like benny hill characters !!

Run the file settings.exe in your default PES09 folder and choose "Use frame skipping", see if it helps.

On Become A Legend DO NOT use auto save and when saving, cycle between three saves. It remains the only way that, should the save corruption occur, you can go back to your previous save in the cycle, simply replay your last match and then continue.

In my game, which has crashed three times, I'm using three save slots which I alternate after each game and have therefore been able to continue my career. Not ideal but what can we do right now?

I can confirm, that dropping the resolution to 1024x768 the crashes have gone away, as odd as it sounds. Im now in the beginning of second full season in BAL.
With plenty of AA the graphics look more than good enough with 17".

I just registered to tell people here about the gamingaccess fix file, but someone already posted the link above.

I tried it on mine and it was fixed. It happened to me on week 8 by the way.

When I think about it, I really think I'm an idiot. By now I probably should have given up on Konami, but i always go back with all the online problems, bugs, and now this one on 2009. If only FIFA had better gameplay, oh well.

I have trouble with the sound... The commentary is there, the speakers, the audience and the other sound like ball on post.. but I can barely hear them...
When I score there is no louder sound, only the speaker man talking.. no sound of hitting the ball or crazy fans...
When looking in setting to see if sound is work I have green things going up and down, but not on my speakers only on the digital output, wich I have not connected!!!
It seems the game playing sound in 5.1 for me so I only hear few sounds and not so loud, only the commentary and music is loud! i also have checked stereo with no succes

Try switching to a 4/4.1 speaker setup for the game Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars used to cause me no end of sound issues on 5.1 as it was sending half of the sound through the front centre speaker which just doesn't give the output of the other speakers.

Seems like there are a whole load of different problems with this game.

Not only has my bal game crashed but ive got issues with the game not loading saves or game modes without pressing alt enter to mininmize the window.Ive tried all the resolutions ticked all the combinations of boxes v sync etc updated my drivers.Ive never had a problem like this with any other game,just shows how lazy konami are to be honest

Ive tried the bal fix and its messed up now with the player names,the players also run around in groups aswell the game ended at Hull 8 Bolton 4 and i didnt get on at all

interesting that you wrote that as im using two at the moment and saving every other game with np so far..as for the save file going blank ive found that if you scroll to the bottom of the save file list then back up it my save file is back hmmm bizarre but it work's for me..

more problems.. now when i try to connect online all i get is:

"residual connection data exists. Please try to connect again later."

This game is really starting to get to my nerves to say the least.



btw the screenie is not a fake, why would it be?

On consoles this problem can be sorted by turning auto-connect off then restarting the game,hopefully its the same on the PC.
