PC vs PS3 graphics

Just wondering, is the PS3 version pes2010 suppose to have better graphics than the PC version. Because I played it on the PS3 and the graphics looked alot more realistic as compared to the PC version and I have a GTX 295 with the settings cranked to high, yet it still looks washed out and unrealistic as compared to the PS3 version.

^PC is and will always be better than the PS3 version if you have a PC that can handle high settings. Period.
I'm saying this because I have both versions.

PC always wins graphically. Maybe it's just your monitor. I still prefer PS3 though. Big screen and better colour if you have a good TV, unless you're really fortunate and have a high end PC connected to a really nice TV lol.

Actually that is exactly my set-up. But I dont get why the PS3 version seems to have better graphics then the PC version, maybe I got wrong setting or something, but I have checked thie high setting @ 1920x1080, 16:9.

Wot resolution is your TV? Wot resolution do you have ProEvo running at?

For console to look nicer than PC, there has got to be some setup or configuration anomaly somewhere along the lines.

No you're wrong. The PS3 ver. DOES have better graphics, shadows etc.
I'm using a 23" monitor on the PC ver 1920x1080p all settings maxed and no matter how hard i try changing the contrast, gamma, etc from my nvidia control panel, the game just doesn't look like the PS3 ver.

I'm pretty sure the PC will have better graphics. What you need is this: a decent sense in computer hardware, and a bit cash. I assume a lot of people by their pre-made Dell and take their words for it when it says 'awesome!' in the comments.

The only time where a PC has worse graphics, is when a game is made for console and then rather badly ported to PC. Oh, and EA, they seem to do a good job at ruining their titles by trying to port to PC.

Is the ps3 also played on the same monitor? If not then maybe your tv is the deciding factor. Pc generally has better graphics thanks to the much newer and much more expensive hardware whereas the developers have to limit some stuff on console to keep the game running as smooth as possible.

Shadow maybe it's a driver issue? Also unless the Pes options have AA+AF settings, you should try forcing anti-aliasing and anisoptric filtering in your drivers to see if that improves things.

I have a half decent 19" packerd bell monitor with a 8800gts and pes looks great.
But surely its the gameplay we are missing.

No.I'm playing the PC ver. on my 23" pc monitor which i bought 1 month ago and the PS3 on my 37" philips LCD.I know for a fact that 98% of games look better on the PC but i've also heard that PES and FIFA look better on consoles this year.Regarding fifa the PS3 looks WAY better but as far as PES 2010 is concerned i'd say it has better shadows and contrast as i stated before. Also the faces look much better and less blury no matter what camera you are using.I have a 9800GX-2 latest drivers all setting maxed anti-al and v-sync forced to death.
And i'm too lazy to connect my PC to the 37" LCD panel.
So cheers.
