Sign-ups closed.

Also, the majority of games Mon to Fri will be played after 6PM, with Sat and Sun being the two days where we can the majority played.

That gives me an idea...

Could all who've signed up leave a preference of the best suited days/times for them. This will be the first step in getting a fixture list made.

Hi Baddar,

I have seen that the sign-up's are closed, but if you find a spot for another team at some point in time, I would like to play as well.

Ajax Amsterdam will be my team

Cheers!

Just like 3 or 4 others, your interest has been noted.

Thanks! Much appreciated..

I got my PS3 yesterday, so I didn't look into this thread before. If it's ok with you, I might at you to PSN later on though to that you can at least train a bit for the league (as long as you don't slaughter me, that is ;-))

I can't train for the league until the 17th October, when PES 2009 comes out.

But I think you meant play PES 2008. As much as I enjoyed the game offline, I refuse to play that laggy piece of shit online. But yeah, add me if you like.

Nah, I don't even have PES 2008 for the PS3 so don't worry about that (only have it for the PS2). I meant just to play when PES2009 comes out so I will add you and we'll play a game when the game comes out.

Ok yeah, add me.

I don't mind if a few others who have joined the league add me as well, just make sure you mention your username on here in the friend add so that I know who you are.

how many fixtures to played per week?

it might be an idea to allow the times and dates to be sorted between the participants. so you list the fixtures and the date the game is to be played by and we do the rest; what do you think?

Perhaps it's an idea to set up a Second Division for those how couldn't join so that we can play with promotion and relegation? Just a thought.

If we can get about 8 or 10 teams in the lower league, we'll just take the teams that haven't been picked yet and allow two or three teams to promote / relegate between the two leagues

Acually that is not a bad idea.

Glad you like it. If Baddar is ok with this too, as I don't want to hijack his league, then we can open up for registrations again for the Second Division, decide upon a max amount of participants in this league and decide how many teams promote / relegate between the two leagues.

We'll be sticking to the 16 who originally signed up and if anyone pulls out, changes will be made from there.

For the first crack at the league at least, there'll be no 2nd division.

I'm able to play Mon-Fri after 6 and anytime on Sat-Sun

This league should be the shizzle.
I like the way their are no major god like teams involved.
So this will be a league where we play each other once and then calculate who is first by three points for win and the usual i guess :)
