BAL is a lot better this year. teammates now pass. They still do the idiotic once in a while but overall it is a definite improvement.

I'm starting to change my mind on this pes. It is a grower, normally it doesnt take this long to grow on me. It must be because its so different from last years.

Some nights this game just seems to do everything right and plays well. Some times every thing that can go wrong will.

This version is more realistic, overall. I'm even learning to accept the referees wont give fouls and it has stopped bothering me.

Welcome to the forum, you twit. People have opinions, people are allowed their opinions without being lambasted. I personally think PES 2010 is a very good game, much improved upon PES 2008 and 2009.

But then again, you have 6 posts which probably means you only started posting to criticise people and PES 2010, so next time, think before you type.

LOL. I don't care what people say cause everyones got there own opinions. I Personally think PES 2010 is much better than 09 and that is very obvious to me. Pes 08 was horrible with all that fast gameplay, the only thing i did really like on 08 was the ability to score PROPER SCREAMERS!!!.

I actually thought that PES2009 was better than PES2010 for a long time, but when I actually made the move and installed PES2009, installed smoke's patch and fired it up to have a great time I was baffled... PES2009 sucks compared to PES2010 was my conclusion.

Modify your team sliders in PES2010 and you'll have a completely different game.
There is a thread or two on this forum about it.

i always have a problem with the new pes an it takes me a while to get used to it but now im lovin it an theres no looking back. the only one i couldnae get on with was pes2008 on pc - it was rank rotten so i played ps2 til pes09 came out

Anyone agree with me? I've tried my best to patient with all the new things and problems etc with 2010, but now, however many months it is later, I've had enough. I'm going to go into GAME on my next day off, and trade it back in for 2009.

Anyone else thought of doing this? For the others who think 2010 is gash (and I know there's ALOT of you) have you considered this?

2010 is better you just need to get used to it's quirks. The problem is that they slowed the whole game down which means sometimes shots from the edge of the box look like they are roling in at snails pace. The other problem is that you can't pass the ball out of defence like you used to.

But for the community mode and tactical variables it's awesome. Get some friends together and dream team the night away. Check this blog it explains what to do plus it will give you the upper hand on picking.

Just played a couple of games in PES2009, reinstalled, and felt good to have the CPU attack more and from all angles. And ther refs, no need to say much about it, just felt like playing a real football game again where you get fouls, cards and guess what?!? PENALTIES!!!! I play in Top Player level... and just felt so much more challenging in Pes2009, where the CPU had an average of 11 shots on my goal in a 10min match.

I know a lot of people just get so excited with a new version and the good graphics, but in my opinion gameplay is much more important. At the moment I have Pes6, Pes2009 and Pes2010 installed on my PC and i´m playing all... not saying i´m going back, but sometimes I just feel like playing a more exciting match against CPU and not being tackled down in the box and think "ow ok, I forgot, this is NORMAL in PES2010".

The game that was the hardest and had the best AI was pes 5. I hope konami watch that game again, because pes 5 was in the shadow of pes 6 which is totally unfair to say the least, because pes 5 was overall a better game. It showed skill where you had to adjust to it and play tactically. Pes 6 was slightly more on the attacking side. Pes 5 had the best balance, and best cpu AI. Skilled players are easily defined in pes 5.
Now I am saying this as it's my opinion as none of the other pes games show player's skill while keeping the footballer's individuality as much as pes 5.
Anyway I still think that pes 09 was bad. Pes 2010 beats it hands down. But even this game has flaws that aren't fixed.

It's so complicated tho isn't it? I can't say 2009 is better or PES 5 is better or anything. All I'm saying is, for me, the things that piss me off about 2010 were just too much to allow me to play it for long periods of time. That's why I've regressed back to 2009.

Shaun, on PES5 I feel it was very similar to 2010, in the sense that the physics and the gameplay were generally very good, excellent infact, just with a few major flaws that kinda ruined it.

^I do not want to go offtopic but what major flaws in pes 5 are you talking about?
And for me pes 2009's flaws are much more evident and much worse than pes 2010's.

The refs were a big one for me in PES5. Far too strict.

^But they were the most fair. Not like the ones in pes 6, 2008, 2009 and 2010. They all favoured the AI and gave away less fouls in your favour. In pes 5 it was almost equal in the amount of fouls given to you and the AI. And it had the best advantage play.
