I had some friends get together last night to try it out, and I have to say I'm a bit let down, probably because of all the hype I've heard about the wii version this year.
For starters I should say that I was only using the classic controller, so that I could compare it with the next gen versions. My overall impression is that while there are some aspects I liked better than on the next gen consoles, it's not worth the massive cost I would have to invest for me to go out an buy a wii, controller, and the game, when I already have it on the 360 and I'm still enjoying it.
Good game (8.5/10 is fair), and I enjoyed the penalties (we went to penalties in our first match and won), but it's not revolutionary IMO. Also, I'm too psyched about 2010 to invest in this now. I don't mean to put the game down in any way, and to be honest I didn't play more than 5 matches or use the nunchuck/wiimote, but I thought I should share my experience anyway. Also, the game actually reminds me quite a bit of the JLeague WE 2008, and for the price I'd rather have that (and I already do).

I can't say too much, but I'm getting a game for someone who's getting a Wii for christmas and I want to know what you think is the best game (its a 12 yr old girl)
