who are the worst goalkeepers in pes 2010 ?

(shortest and less skilled ones) ?

i've found out mexico GK is quite short...

do you know any other?

shorter goalkeepers have shorter reach. one of the reasons why van der sar is so good is because of his reach

the PES 2010 overall rating takes the GK's height into account also.

lobont is a GK with excellent stats, yet he has a low overall stat in PES 2010 because he is only 184cm. on the contrary, if you look at kalac, he has a good overall rating in PES 2010 but terrible response and keeper skills. but he's 202cm...

I've heard that gk's are in general not so smart in PES. If you scale all the goalkeepers stats (response/reaction, consistency...) by some amount, can you make them more functional?

Iam currently changing all the gks stats such as Ability,responce and gk skill and taking them up by 10 points or so,and ive found that they dive for near enough everything instead of ball watching and turning on the spot as the ball goes straight past them
it makes a hell of alot of difference

These are the changes i have made to all GK's in PES 2010.

Agility, Response, Jump, Defence & Keeper Skills all up by 10, also added 1 on 1 stopping special ability through the card system.

Makes a big difference, try and see what you think.

I'm not finding keepers to be as terrible as people have been making out, they seem to pull out a lot of very good stops against me, yes they do spill the ball too much but I haven't had loads of rebounds

The starting keeper from rubin kazan is not good..

the keepers dont make that many mistakes this year like pushing it out directly to the striker but sometimes they do, i think it has reduced though.

Are these changes just for the pc version or is it possible to change the console versions too ?

That's great thanks. I have both consoles but play pro on the ps3. If you have done it to all the keepers it must have taken you a fair while to complete the job.

Would you say then that it's definitely worth doing ?

I reckon doing anything on edit mode is worth it beacuse once you make the changes its there till you change it again its proper unlike fifa wheres it messed up

I started doing some changes today, i just did the premier league, the italian and spanish leagues. I do see a change with the keepers, they are much better. Cheers
