i'd like to have the rising teams from the east: just think about teams like Anzhi, Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, Metalist etc. There is a lot of money rolling at the moment and these teams will play a good role in european competitions in the following years. furthermore i really wish they would add Santos. Without Santos the Copa Libertadores is something like the Champions League without Barcelona...

santos isnt in pes 2011 becoz santos isnt in libertadores 2010 (libertadores 2011, the one santos won, start 4/5 months after the game been released), but its going to be for pes 2012

Yup, CSKA will be coming in replacing them.

Konami have made the choice, and have decided to implement the following eight teams into PES 2012:

Genk (Belgium)
Standard Liège (Belgium)
Bayer Leverkusen (Germany)
Wisła Kraków (Poland)
Oţelul Galaţi (Romania)
CSKA Moscow (Russia)
FC Zürich (Switzerland)
Trabzonspor (Turkey)

But with new licensed teams coming in, we will also see teams leaving the PES series.

Here are the eight teams that will not be in PES 2012.

Club Brugge (Belgium)
Werder Bremen (Germany)
Dinamo Bucureşti (Romania)
CFR Cluj (Romania)
Unirea Urziceni (Romania)
Spartak Moscow (Russia)
FK Crvena Zvezda (Serbia)
SK Slavia Praha (Czech Republic)

So will Dortmund not be in it at all? They're in the Champions League, so they should be in!

You would think that every team that is in the group stages of both the Champions and Europa leagues that are not included in the 5 main leagues would be included in the Europe group, licensed or fake.

It seems to me like there is some kind of limit in the amount of teams you have in one group of teams. Hence you lose some teams which are replaced instead of being just added too.

i think the new 8 teams are very much compensating the removed 8. especially when you think about the team strengths. CSKA and Leverkusen are playing at a far higher level than their national "predecessors" Spartak and Bremen. I also prefer the other 6 new ones to the old ones as I simply know too little about those team from the east...
however, dortmund would be awesome :D

Werder I knew would be left out. But I'm glad to see Wisla and CSKA make a return But PES without Club Brugge!?!? Thats like when they took Angola out. Not to worry though all we have to do is base copy the players and transfer the data over to 2012. Thats what I'm most curious about, how the transfer data function will work for 2012.

About the Bundesliga clubs, having Leverkusen in but not Dortmund will be a low down dirty shame. If anyone has seen the gameplay video with the German sqaud, at least 4 players from BVB are on it. So I'm hope we will see the team in 2012.

I'm gonna say that PES and WE are both "the same" game now these days?

I was at boarding school when PES 2,3,4,5 came out and we would get to play the WE edition too before each release as one of my mates there was from Hong Kong and would bring it over to the UK.

WE was always the better game, there was something watered-down about PES and it makes me miss WE.

Does anybody here understand why Konami do not release the J-League and K-League on "worldwide" PES? Well, they used to release J-League as a exclusive game, but they didn't do it last years. So, if they have these licenses, why don't they put it on the game? They still have these licenses... or not?
