PES 2012 Negativity thread

I've been playing the full game now since yesterday and i think there's hardly any difference from the demo2.
I'm really got the hang of off the ball movement and now consistantely carving the A.I open up on top player and it really is amazing , i'm getting some beautiful movement in my team now i've played it for a couple of hours non stop.
I've been picking random team and not really looking at the formation and my major grip is i can never really tell who the slow players are or the good technical players are.Compared to last years you didn't even need to look at the stats you got a feeling for the player you were in control of.There's hardly any difference with AMF and DMF , they all feel godly technicians. Because all the midfielder are so good on the ball , turnover of the play is way to fast and not really an enjoyable experience.Slow build up play is not that rewarding because it feels just to easy passing about ,even with pass assist to zero , players trap the ball effortlessly and move around like ballet dancers. That's what it feels like really pes 2012 running around with ballet dancers, players feel weak.
Shooting is way-way to accurate and also scoring just isn't as satisfying.Headers go in 100 mph but shots usually trickle in , even when the animation shows that i've just smashed the ball.
Some of the passing and shooting animations are so bad.Like the shooting animation where your on an angle and your player raps his foot around it but it just looks awkward as hell and the passing animation when you use O/B is again awful.
Also why the hell did they have to dumb down the formation screen again.I thought they couldn't dumb it down anymore after last year but i was clearly wrong. It's so fucking awkward trying to browse through your teams stats now.
What are your major problems with the game?

Maka get online or unlock the super difficulty joint.
I m with you that they feel like godly technicians but i think the game responds differently to pressure on different parts of the pitch. As in if i am pressuring a cb who has the ball, his passing and turning wont be as effective. I was just online and this one dude hounded the shit out of me since i liked to possess and he took the ball from me atleast 3 times during the match because of my over confidence in the back line dribbling and passing.

My major problem is still that ppl still dont have much insentive on clearing u can still hold x and the ball zips straight onto your forward to start the attack, granted the defense reacts well in this version of the game. Its become a pet peeve now

I don't understand how people can't see the difference between players.... You're telling me that controlling Eto or controlling Lucio is virtually the same and you can't notice a difference? I even notice differences between Sneider and Cambiasso or Zanetti and Stankovic. Eto for example vs Pazzini or Milito feel completely different, even Pazzini and Milito who are similar players feel different.

look eto'o can turn and dribble better than lucio or milito or pazzini because he is a speed merhcant meaning he dribbles in a different way. lame example. cb's dribble like yo-yos however if you do a skill with say lucio and a skill with sneijder, sneijder can perfect it better like a roulette with lucio covers like 15m

i don't like the player's stats page for sure...same issue for konami again, fixing something that wasn't broken. I'm sure they changed it for the fifa boys too, cause its almost identical..

while i'm at it with player's stats, are they fucking serious about suarez...?

Never been a fan of using the best players .I'm talking about when your using some random teams that you have zero knowledge of the players.

Who should we believe now?!!!
Don't believe me, i'm very fickle about new pes games:troll:
It's just my opinion of the game.

I used and am still playing PES, never liked Fifa.
But I have to say I preate last years PES to this years one for the following reason.

- The game is so freaking fast. Its not even funny. My head is turning around from that speed, feels like rollercoaster. Nothing like real football. I actually have a headache after playing it a while.

- Scoring goals i way too easy. Almost no skill is requiered to create a score goals. What matters now is who can pass faster etc....

- Goalkeepers plain suck. Much worse than last year.

- I always was more of a fan of defensive play and it was well done in pes2011. But here, to win you need to attack only. Defending is very hard.

As sorry I am I have to keep playing PES2011 this year.
Hope they at least tone down the speed of the game a little bit next year.

These points I agree with. Online games are shootouts, crazy high scorelines of 4-3 5-3 3-3 etc on a consistant basis..... Konami nees to address the defending abilities of tackles, shooting accuracy, passing spreed and the goalies with a patch asap. I know the goalie patch is coming but the other issues need to be addressed as well.

is anyone having trouble with the camera angles i think that there is no acceptable angle. wide is way too zoomed out. Players looks tiny compared to the pitch which is very unrealistic. The camera is the thing i struggle with the most. Drives me nuts

Long camera is the best imo.
Seems no diffeent from last years.
Wide camera is good for a more tactical scope of the game, but it's like controlling ants round the pitch.Dribbling is also more difficult with the wide camera.
I've not heard anyone mention the problem with the lack of men in the wall on free kicks yet. It's a bit of a silly oversight how they didn't realise this problem when game testing.

ok I am gonna have to give long a shot and see how it works. i just hope they kept last years wide cam as it was perfect. unbelievable

hmm...i take great pride in my defensive abilities and i have posted shutouts in my last 6 games, barring a 3-2 loss, where the dude controlled the game for the first time online and score 2 great goals with arshavin.

I think the defensive setup is very good in the game, I have fun playing defense. Last year you could go through dbs, not this year. If your dbs are in front of the offensive player, you can steer him directions without dumb passes from last year that would always connect. And yes certain people still play where they automatically pass it really fast to the first guy they see but that can be stopped much more effectively than last year
