Ans since the only reply is a vid showing random collection of less than often events, just proves my point.

How is the collision system in PES, Yeah, that's right, it doesn't have one. 2 players collide and just stop dead with no resulting impact, same as defenders can block you from getting the ball cause the game doesn't recognize physical presence ;)

Also the impact engine in Fifa 12 was it's first outing in the series. Obviously things would not be perfect, but yet, Fifa still shows what happens in real world football the majority of the time and with the improvements made (go read) in Fifa 13 will only enhance such things.

You want to bury your head in the sand and ignore such obvious truths then be my guest.....Those more reasonable of folk will be able to respond in a much more open minded manner.

I do agree that PES games need to add some kind of impact system, and I do not like the way they just stop or fall on their arses when more animation would suffice in different scenarios. However it's not a major problem. The games play fine, if all you are going to do is come to a PES forum and talk about how much better FIFA is than PES why don't you just go to a FIFA page and jerk off over all the licensed teams?

I buy both games each year and to be fair both have their pros and cons, I like PES for its editing features and Fifa for... I dunno to be fair... Sometimes I wish I never bought another Fifa game after Fifa 10 cause they went downhill since then. I hate the way the game lags on the menus, everything seems scripted and I feel like I cannot play how I would like in Fifa games.

Meh, either way I like playing Football games and I will still be that fool that buys these games each year. Just enjoy them and stop whining like a little kid, unless you are of course... Then go Whine somewhere else.

Maybe you should pay more attention cause in both this thread and the previous demo thread I have offered plenty of praise for this new PES 13.

But of course, those fall of deaf ears cause I gave praise to another too. Are you people really that Insecure about your gaming purchases that you can't even handle simple comparisons to show that both series are in need of "Taking note"

I think you failed to read the part where I said I buy both Fifa and PES each year.

But I apologize if I didn't read the whole thread, I went to the last page and thought it would be funny to pick out the point where you said the impact system is realistic... Well I made myself chuckle at least :D

I was talking about those who can't handle such comparisons, If you think that includes you, then the comment was for you.

It is realistic, Is it to a 1:1 ratio of real life, no, but expecting such would be foolish. The point though was that it is a more realistic portrayal of what you see in a game, than the way PES does it.

also I didn't fail to read that part, But such words spoken mean little when in failed refuting of obvious truths.

The Point though and the only one I was trying to make is this........Both franchises can take lessons from one another, neither game is perfect and both have big flaws. If you can Refute that in any real way then please respond.

If you can't, then don't reply as this will go no where positive other wise.

Back on Topic: I'm still eagerly awaiting the PC demo. I truly hope it comes Monday:D

PC always gets thing last... We have to wait until October to get the full game also. Decided to get it on PC this year rather than PS3 cause I wanted a change, also the PC demo seems to play a lot better than the PS360 versions. :S

The first demo certainly did play better and considering the frame rate issues on 360 for demo 2, it will be nice to play a smooth game.

Don't think the PC demo will come out, they did say the PS3 version is the 'final version' of the 2nd demo

I think the second demo is kinda boring. Much more entertainment in demo 1 in my opinion. It feels like Konami received all our moaning about the famous scripted matches, and now i can just walk around outside their box and wait for the right opportunity to open, and then score :( In demo 1 they at least got some chances - now they don't even cross the half way line until the 80th minute..

I have to say, I'm so dissapointed that not even this year PES doesn't have a custom camera (height&zoom) and I want it so much. That's the best thing about fifa.

I believe pes 2013 (going on the 2nd demo) deserves the praise it's getting. Going by what i have read on the fifa forums , there are plenty of fifa fans giving it praise also.

There are obviously the odd few who don't appreciate the pes demo on the fifa forums too, but it's to be expected.
I guess there will be a fair few pes fans who will give fifa 13 a good go too, it will have to be quite a bit better than fifa 12 though eh.

I'm sure if fifa 13 is good it will get worthy praise from this here forum

I am especially looking forward to pes 2014 as it's finally getting a new engine, one less thing the fifa fans can throw at us.
