Too early to say yet, every year we're teased with a minute of "improvements" can't judge till I've actually experienced it myself.
If you look at the Neymar goal, awful, awful keeping still. But, hopefully it plays well.

Everything looks really sweet unless the keeper annimations. They probebly wont be better till next gen. As long as the preform well in the goal im happy. And not like last year tune down shooting cause the keepers cant save anything

I agree with both of your statements as when I first saw the Neymar goal, my initial thought was 'Wow, what a curler from Neymar as you could never do that in PES 2012 with his weak foot' But then I watched it again and was dissappointed as the Keeper animations were the same and even if he did let that goal in, he should have jumped properly and not look rigid. Still early, but as Keepers were one of the main focuses this year, it should improve.

Everything else was sweet, and the trailer looked unique and professional (FIFA-esque presentation)

Thats how Ronaldo runs in real life. I'm not making fun of him thats just his movement I'd say Konami got it right.

the players still run like they have cucumber up their ass...
They replicated his movement so as Stringerbell mentioned, its how he runs in real life. But his turning is a bit rigid as the momentum shifting is unrealistic but animations have still improved overall and I'm satisfied by this trailer that KONAMI have atleast put effort unlike past years.

Also for those interested, more news on PES 2013 regarding the elements -

Or a demo, or a trailer, or hyperbole, or the inane ramblings of a Big Issue seller...

Game continues its dark dreary look, so much shadow.

The interview video below is a corollary for the game itself - no flair whatsoever, they can't make it more boring that this. They seem more interested in the facebook link again this year. I also notice they seem to have developed a defending style, most in tune with FIFAs tactical defending, and gave it a similar name. One complaint that I do not complain enough about is the poor controls - so they added right stick selection of a defender, but the only way it works is if you take you hands off all controls so you are forced to stop the defender you are about to select off of from tracking back---so try and right stick to another defender and he stops dead and lets the dribbler continue. Then, the horrible control of knock and double knock that requires months of practice to get the exact timing of double tapping R1 after the last touch or it doesn't work. The controls are horrible.

Well, well, that was a good trailer. But I won't get my hopes up just yet because this does not prove anything. But it was great to see Konami finally getting a good presentation going. BTW, that curler was beautiful ;) Just saying.

Oh and ofcourse it looks like PES 12, GRAPHICALLY. It's on the same consoles afterall with the SAME HARDWARE. ;)

BTW, I am really hoping that pes 13 fixes some annoyances that were on pes 12 because in my honest view, if Pes doesn't deliver, I have to rely on others games out there and I won't have a football game for another year.

On release day there will be a free dlc including all the 20 la liga stadiums
Great to see more stadiums being added, but I don't know why they just don't include it in the actual game instead of downloading it through a DLC.

@Iron. PES 2012 was a horrible game of button smashing, scripting etc. and I know what you mean about the unsensitive controls - you can not knock on by tapping R1 etc. but in PES 2013, because of the manual controls, every button will be sensitive - you can use R2 to determine how you dribble (Close control: Simple taps on R2, Small knock ons:quick tap on R2, Long knock ons: Longer tap on R2) as the longer you press R2, the faster and pacey your dribbling is. So with perfect timing you can nutmeg, or like Walcott, with a lot of power, blast the ball miles ahead of a defender and run for it.

The video you showed was lame I agree but it was just an announcement, nothing big

Probebly cause it doesnt make the death line. Dont really see what wrong withit. Its free so doesnt really matter.

I think its really cool. Its a fully licensed spanish league, even ea doesnt have that

That surprised me (to have a fully licenses La Liga) a lot and from the guys at WENB, looks like they have plenty of surprises left for us!

EA would have charged us £15 for 20 stadiums so we're lucky
