Man City should be liscenced for winning EPL and Chelsea for winning Champions League. But liscences aren't important cause you can just edit them. My copy of 2012 has all next seasons EPL kits so it's already ahead of any game out atm.
Something you can only do in FIFA if you wait a year and pay another £40.

they cant.. ea got the licence

EA have the liscence for every team yet PES still had certain leagues Man U and Tottenham, i was just saying if there are any new liscenced EPL teams they should be the two due to their titles last season.

Promising news coming out...http://www.onlyproevolutions.com/2012/06/pes-2013-could-feature-fully-licensed.html

Also to mix that with the knowledge that Copa Liba WILL be in ML this year.
Yay. Its just a shame I won't play with them

@Smithies.
EA have the rights for the ownership of the license for some Premier League teams. Tottenham are fully under the license of EA now which is why they've gone to Tottenham to design some faces for players. Same for Man City and Chelsea and the only possible way to get their licenses is to pay double of what EA offers. Even if they did, it'd probably be too late

Fair enough mate, thats a shame, but with such talented png people on here i guess we dont really need liscenses too much. I do prefer being able to chhange my kit each season in ML :)

Only downside to the licensing is you can't edit the kits easily on console. I say easily because I read in an editing thread you can do a bunch of team overwriting another team and then defaulting and blah blah blah.

But it would be nicer if I could just, for example, replace ajax's away kit by loading a new image for the kit like I can do with all the unlicensed teams.

fucking hate half licensed leagues, this game needs to have everything licensed, more time is spent editing/fixing this franchise than playing it, smh.

FIFA owns most of the licences... and they can sue pes if they try to licence leages they "own"

Leagues:
The following leagues are fully licensed.
Ligue 1
Eredivisie
La Liga

The following leagues are partly licensed.
Italy: Serie A, all clubs licensed, but the logo and the name is fake.
Brasileirão, 9 Clubs licensed: Flamengo, Internacional, Galinhada, Vasco (Eterno Vice), Fluminense, São Paulo, Santos, Cruzeiro, Bahia
Premier League, 5 Clubs licensed: Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
Primeira Liga, 4 Clubs licensed: FC Porto, SL Benfica, SC Braga, Sporting CP.
Argentine Primera División, 4 Clubs licensed: Independiente, Boca Juniors, River Plate, Racing

I do find it odd that Konami still haven't announced its official licenses for this year. How reliable is this information?

By the way Ibra, you're going to need to resize that signature old bean, to 400x100.

EDIT: Actually, I've done it for you (link below) :D

Two words: Option File.
:D

yeah i know, but its a ball ache every year, just wish the game would come fully licensed, might be quicker to do this year though, with the PS3 update you can copy multiple files in one go.

Its from Wikipedia. Not happening anyway, most of those licenses.

Here are the teams in the preview code (these aren't all the teams that will appear in the retail code as some leagues are to be revealed next month such as South American ones)

Licenses will be revealed at Gamescom which is one month away and around the time where we'll recieve the 2nd demo so I don't expect much news about PES in the next month. Hopefully they'll shed some light in football life
