PES 2015 Demo Discussion

I finally got the hang of PES 2015 demo! I gave up on trying to get my money's worth on FIFA 15 because I came to the conclusion that it's worthless in comparison to PES 2015. I just realized how realistic PES 2015 really is because it seems I was completely under the influence of FIFA 15's hold-your-hand game-play.

It's realistic in the sense that I have to actually to make sure my back is facing the guy trying to get the ball from and sort of manoeuvre around them.

And then I have to do through balls. Through balls. And more through balls. Maybe some lobs.

In comparison to FIFA 15, it is MUCH more satisfying to get goals.

I already have the game pre-ordered on PS4 digital store and I was surprised it's $60 and not $70. Either way I get free points, two players, and Gotze. Does Gotze get included in the myClub mode, or is it another game mode?

Anyway, looks like I'll be able to play with regular difficulty after all.

FIFA 15 was fast at launch, but the last patch made FIFA 15 even faster, online is a complete mess (watch streams of FUT matches) and all you need are 88-93+ pace players and spam through balls up and down the field (which is unusually accurate) and you win (which is why a lot of players with high pace on the market are incredibly expensive, even low end silvers) and using that in offline the AI defense can't keep up with it even on world class setting. You can't get away with this in FIFA 14, even on professional setting the AI gets aggressive.

Wow. So they've made it even easier.

Anyway, does anyone know what will be different from the final PES 2015 product in comparison to the demo besides game modes?

Will some of the faces be updated? One thing I've noticed is the known players look very realistic compared to, for example, most of the players on the athletic club team. They did a better job compared to FIFA 15 but it's still noticeable. Although, I'd give them a pass since everything is done manually(which is surprisingly more accurate than scanning technology).

Is the ps4 gameplay much better than the ps3 version? Graphics are not important for me.

Game-play difference makes no sense.

The only difference is graphics and resolution. FPS is the same which is good for you.

However, the graphics downgrade for the PS3 are quite noticeable.

Check out this link + video to see a good comparison:

http://www.pesmyclub.com/ps4-vs-ps3-pes-2015-demo-comparison/

The crowd looks the worst on the PS3 version. Like undetailed robots.

The game size on PS4 went from 2.44GB to 2.51GB, that's a sizeable patch for a demo, a bit big for just fixing crashes, game still plays excellent as ever though.

Hm, this could explain why the game feels easier to me now. I won so often in a row now, on Superstar. Wasn't possible before. Well, could be placebo too.

EDIT: Wait, why is my size 3,7GB?

No PC Demo yet! Thank You Konami!!

i think you should thank the pc pirates. 90% of the pc gamers playing for free but complain and expect full service

plus unlocking hidden content before the game is released with hacks...

Yes, I expect full service, because I pay for a PC Version. I never hacked their demo, so this is not my Problem. As far as I know FIFA hasn't been hacked yet. Konami can't do the same? It's just a reason to treat me as a 3rd class customer :realmad:

I'm getting a hybrid-version and supposed to pay even for that? I think this year I will try the free-version as well...

Finally picked up a XBOX ONE over the weekend and tried the demo. All I gotta say is WOW! The demo is AMAZING.

I had actualy convinced myself over the past year that I enjoyed playing PES14. But, after one game with the demo I remembered what a piece of crap PES14 is.

The way they updated the gameplay is great. The game moves ALOT faster than PES14 did where I was constantly plodding my way up the field. Now you can get up and down the field with ease. But, to make up for the ease with moving the ball they went and made the passing much more difficult in a good way. in PES14 I could just pass teh ball blind in a direction and it would automatically go to the right player. Or I could switch fields and it was like Beckham was passing every ball since they all ended up rigth on the foot. But, now you actually have to aim and time all your passes or else they will go nowhere near your target.

And best of all the fixed the through balls!!!! They were essentially broken in PES14, but now they are great in PES15. Temmate AI is great, players are no longer off sides on every play and are instead timing runs well.

Can not wait for next tuesday!

And the game is even better on PS4 with the resolution being at 1080p as opposed to the primitive 720p on Xbox One(no idea why they couldn't use the maximum 900p)!

Actually, because of the hardware differences, the PS4 version of games will always be superior!

One thing though is the Xbox controllers are more comfortable and durable.

If only last-gen owners knew how good the game looked on next-gen.

Game-play might be the most important, but the graphics do make a big difference.

Either way, get the PS4 if you're looking for a better experience.

PS4 with graphic boost is not better than XBOX1 with Option file.

Believe you me, I would LOVE to get this game on PS4, but without the option file I wouldn't even consider it.

PS4 has the capacity to copy and transfer files.

I have no idea what option files are and I don't care. It sounds like modding and I HATE that. One of the small reasons I like consoles better is because I don't have to inject myself into that sort of community if I wanted a question answered or something.

Whatever ships with the game, is the game.

yea you really do have no idea what option files are.

Its not modding, its FIXING. The only thing the option files do is to replace all the generic player names and kits with the actual player names and kits.

If you hate that well then ok, not sure how to respond to that.

I heard they found a way on the XBOX1 but it is not stable and they won't be sure untill the full game is released.

About PS4, it seems more difficult and nothing appears to work.

You sure about that? I know they just had a firmware update, but from what I heard you still can't upload option files to the PS4.

Well under settings application saved data management where you can transfer saved data from/to USB storage. There was also a youtube video of a guy turning a FIFA file into a PES file (for PES demo) on PC and copied it to the PS4 and it seemed to work.

PS- oops forgot that this happened before the PS4 2.0 patch, which makes it harder now.
